Which book to read next? (After Athol Kay's book.)

March 25, 2015

I read "The Mindful Attraction Plan" by Athol Kay. It's decent, but not my favorite.

I recently purchased "When I Say No I Feel Guilty", "The Rational Male", " Meditations", "48 Laws of Power", " The 33 Strategies of War", "Mastery", and "No More Mr. Nice Guy".

Any suggestions on which one I should read next?

Rational Male is my favorite out of those

This. Rational Male is the Red Pill bible.

Book of Pook is miles better than any of those. Rational Male is way overhyped, but if you do decide to read it you can torrent it for free.

Book of Pook always struck me as a book about getting laid. Am I wrong?

No, but you're not alone in thinking that. Most think it's a PUA tactic because it starts out with the 15 rules.

It's really about connecting your dreams to day. About becoming a man, improving yourself, and putting the focus of your life on YOU. One of my favorite aspects is the metamorphosis of Pook the reader experiences over time- he comes to the realization that being a man is not doing anything and everything to get the ladies. It's having a love for life, specifically your own life that you created by following your dreams.

I made this account to repost Pook, because the book has changed my life in ways words can't describe. Does Pook have flaws? Of course. But this read gave me a second life, changed the way I think, and taught me to live in the moment.. because that is all we have.

"The strangest thing has occurred to me. I came here looking for love but discovered life. Now, it is not a love for woman or women, it is more a love for life. It is like we have been given a second chance to get life right, a Second Life as gift."

That's really cool. I thought it was a PUA tactic too because of the 15 rules. Thanks for giving me a new perspective.

Woman's infidelity, Michelle Langley I believe

Especially the part where cheating women describe their husbands as "pathetic" and "disgusting"

Sounds like a good read. Perhaps I'll get it once I've gone through what I already have. Any suggestions from what I've listed?

No Mr Nice guy is a good read if it resonates with your upbringing. It's a quick read though, will keep you busy for 2 to 3 days

Good to know.

1.) NMMNG 2.) Rational Male 3.) 48 Laws of Power 4.) Meditations

I read them in this order, I haven't read the other ones you mentioned yet.

I did read the superior male, I don't recommend it.

OK cool thanks.

The Way of The Superior Man didn't do much for me. It was too new agey. Very preachy.

First half was ok. Second half was too much

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
