I heard Power of Now and New Earth is basically the same, but I personaly only read the first one.

Also, I didn't like the Alchemyst much, althought I can understand why it is so popular. On the other hand, 1984 is my favourite.

Robert Bly's Iron John is a great springboard into deeper subjects.

I like to pair 1984 with Animal Farm, I've always found they compliment each other. And Animal Farm is 150 pages, you can breeze through it whilst taking a shite.

e: I'd also add Sam Keen's Fire In The Belly, but read it knowing he can get a bit woo-woo.

My advice would be to cut this list way, way down.

Better to really understand a few of these than blaze through a dozen.

Further, a lot of these books are built to have actionable material you should be performing: if you are truly doing those things I doubt you will be able (or need) to get through all of them.

Great list. That's roughly over 1 book per week. With the right attitude doable. I would add James Altucher "Choose Yourself" books + his blog. Highly recommended. Just imagine what a killer mindset you will develop over a year.

Pressfield's companion book to The War of Art is "Do the Work." A great compact book to have in the shitter for quick reminders, I've given a copy to at least a dozen people.

The Body Building Encyclopedia by Arnold Swartzeneggar (this one is just for old school awesomeness)

Those are just off the top of my head, but a good fitness section on your list wouldn't be out of place ;)

My advice, replace the Tolle books with Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman. The exact same techniques as the Tolle books, but told in a much more powerful/dynamic way.

Replace "think and grow rich" and "secret" with any Esther Hicks book, asgain the same techniques but more powerful IMO. Whether it really is quantum mind magic or just subconsious ability to find success it's a great frame of mind to be into. I started having loads of random good luck when I practised her books.

Replace any PUA book with Richard LaRuina, his books are great for date conversation and getting close to someone, finding out whats important to them etc. Keeping your head during dating.

Leil Lownde's books "how to talk to anyone/be liked by anyone" books are great IMO.

Judith Orloff writes great books on energy and positivity, she has been the guru for lots of famous people and her stuff I found great for mastering emotions.

Get into exercise, running, yoga...

As for 1984 etc I'd say forget that and read some novels with lively outgoing characters like vampire lestat or jack reacher. Just goto a bookstore and pick up whatever grabs you. You don't need to read 1984, unless you are curious about his fear of communists. Read some emotional authors like Patrick Ness and John Green, Mark Haddon, you will get social experience and expanded horizons. For example, Tons of nice fans started conversations with me when I was reading Brandon Sanderson's fantasy series Mistborn in public, books can make you friends.
