Thinking about starting up a Instagram and just posting cool pics of me doing cool stuff. I'm in a way better place then I was before I deleted it, as I'm in school and have a good career waiting for me when I finish. Just afraid of getting addicted and truly worrying about what other people are doing and not just myself.

I kinda am at the point where you are when you deleted it I just deactivated mine tho temporarily but at the moment have no intention of going back. I can honestly saying a feeling of anxiety is gone, which came from feeling so connected to ppl I shouldnt have been to and that probably don’t even care about me. I feel more myself then ever i.e the time spent watching what other people are doing im investing in me meditating journaling spending time with myself etc. I been finding it easier and kinda pushed to talk to women in real life and don’t feel like I’m comparing my life to other peoples anymore which of course could’ve been my own flaw but regardless. I’ve only seen pluses from getting off social media. If you feel like it’s about dating just have a tinder and take some cool pics but if not bro go out and meet women in real life the results are better

There are pros and cons to not having social media but overall my mental health is much better without it. Less anxiety, stress, fomo, not comparing my life to others or feeling less than as much, etc. Overall try it out for a month and see for yourself.

LinkedIn might be the exception but regardless first rule applies
