If you have a problem making new friends, you’d have a bigger problem after you graduate. Seen people having fewer and fewer friends once they get older or their social life is just at work for years.

I would say instead of going to a bar alone, try making new friends. That process overlaps with approaching women, anyway. Especially in campus, you could easily make hundreds of them. It’s not hard to make new ones when there’s a common ground (same uni, same major, share same classes).

What hobbies are interest do you have? Some of my closest friends came from joining outdoor clubs and doing adventures with the members. Things like mountain biking, Whitewater, kayaking, surfing, and snowboarding. It’s a wonderful way to build, lifelong friends.

No! Don't go to a bar alone, you know it's weird. However, it is a method to go just for a few minutes and leave, otherwise you look like a depressed or tipsy guy. Remember the old movies when a guy just got dumped by his girlfriend and he goes to a bar and drinks? You look like him.

You should absolutely go to that bar on the weekend.

I suffered with social anxiety growing up.
Moved to a new city by myself to get out of it.

That's exactly how I started. Going out by myself, looking awkward as fuck in the corner, not vibing.

It's been a year since. I meet new friends every night. And these nights aren't Bible study.

I learned that me being solo was what actually drew people to me.

Don't worry about the start. Keep going out till it feels comfortable. Kinda feels like home to me now. weird huh
