You 'managed' to get her number? Sounds weak. Also, sounds like you've already been texting her for a few back and forths. The idea of setting up plans is to not uselessly spend time (which seems so precious to you) texting her, without actually progressing with her.

2-3 weeks you have exams? Damn, what sort of grand dates do you have planned that prevent you from taking a little time for a break/relaxation? (This is supposed to be fun). Why not study at a coffee shop and invite her to hang out with you. Plus, you see this girl in class. Are you weird and don't talk with her?

I don't see how you can say that you don't have an hour or even 30 minutes to spare or use differently to include her or go on a date.

OP, exams in 2-3 weeks is one of the weakest excuses that you can give and if you really believe that there is no short term thing you can do within that period of time (shit man, 30 minutes tomorrow for coffee, is that seriously going to fuck up your exams two weeks from now?) then you shouldn't be trying to date at this point in your life. You need to be reevaluating how you manage time.

You are hamstering, meet up, learn what you are about and maybe have sex after if you like eachother. Don't make things more complicated than they already are.

Also, getting a number means nothing especially if you are colleagues. What you do with it is important.

You could try to message her just to know how she is doing, keep it short, less than 4 lines from you, and let it dry for a few days.

I do the following:
Me-"Hey"
Her-"hello"
M: "Enjoying the day / Just finishing exercising / Hanging out with friends"
H: "Bla bla bla"
M: "So you enjoying yourself?"
H: "Yeah"

Every 4/5 days...
