What is your opinion of the TRP sub vs MRP?

MRP is more focused on the relationship and the family because we have to be. Were we not married (most of us) we wouldn't be in here at all, for the most part.

Saying shit like this is weakling faggot shit; right off the bat you are already DEERing your question. You are doing this because you are attempting to situate yourself in a submissive position so the angry men don't kill and eat you.

The problem is, by doing this, you are displaying low value and it draws less respect. We understand why you do it, but it's gross, all the same. Women find it more so... they just are covert about displaying those feelings. It's better to have a submissive beta cater to you then to completely ostracize you.

To be clear: we aren't focused on the relationship so much as we are focused on ourselves. People often ask, or ponder the question: why not just get divorced?

Here are reasons I would just get divorced:

no kids. Having no kids makes divorce soooo much easier.
no major shared assets like a house, property, or stake in a company. Not having major assets to split makes divorce easier.
ready to fuck down on any number of women: Divorce is a lot easier when you have abundance.

If I had no kids and no shared assets 3 years ago, I'd be divorced now. Full stop. I may have not been fully geared up for number 3, but sans kids and assets, I'd had been gone. This was before I found RP, BTW.

so what's the problem, then?

The problems are that I do have kids and I owned a house. The latter is easier than the former. The former requires that I stay local and spend a shit ton of money post divorce.

And then there is number 3: fucking other women.

My problem, 3 years ago, was that my wife wouldn't fuck me. Maybe it was part her, maybe part me. Maybe a lot of things, but RP showed that women are responsive (and any woman who is sexually aggressive is just a bonus.) I wasn't causing the right response in her to want me to fuck her. It was a DB issue going on 2 years. I finally decided to nope out. I found RP and started pulling my shit together. Suddenly wife wants to fuck.

Go figure.

The point, here, is that in MRP, most of us are married or in complicated LTR situations (living with her, kids with her, shared assets with her.) At our wits end, we'd probably relish just ending it and starting over, but we aren't ready yet (we lack abundance) so we improve ourselves: we lift, get big, get strong, get smart when it comes to relationships, learn game, and then we practice that game on the wife. Once we are up to snuff to conquer the real world, we turn our eyes on the wife. She now has to jump on board or the train leaves. Once we see that other women give us IOIs and take interest in our company we know that if the wife isn't doing the same, then she's the problem, now, and not us.

MRP guys have TRP on hard mode because she's around us all the time. BUT... we also get a sparring partner. With regular girls, if our game fails, we move on to test game on a new girl who has no knowledge of our previous failures. Wives, on the other hand, they see a failed game attempt. This means the next attempt must be superior to a second try with a new girl because the wife remembers: our game has to be able to erase old, bad game memories and as long as you can keep her tingles going, she will live in the now and forget the past (women want nothing more than to live in the now, when it comes to relationships.)

Think about that: women refuse to see the future from their decisions: they think 30 is way far off when they're 26 and then when they are 32, they change from being CC-riding "fun girls" to serious relationship women and want to forget and ignore the past: neither looking to the future nor learning from the past... they only want what is now. So your game needs to be tight.

And if she doesn't jump on board, you move to the next station. By now you should have solid frame instincts, good game, and knowledge that women aren't as special as you thought when you were married to your unicorn.

TL;DR: MRP takes the family into account, but it's still about improving the self. TRP has no family to take into account and it's still about improving the self. The goals and motivations are the same but MRP has different obstacles to negotiate.

Much of what I had read in TRP seemed infantile and misogynistic. Often I could not make it to the main message with all the surrounding silliness required to read first.

I once read about a guy who made every woman call him sir. I thought it was retarded at the beginning. I thought it was absurd when I learned he was in his twenties.

I live in a high-pressure world of dog-eat-dog competition and obscene net worths. The tone and tenor of the posts at TRP seemed geared towards ~~college students~~ low-functioning high school boys.

TRP often alluded to a secret cabal of man-hating feminists bent on taking over the world. A hidden society dooming each man to veritable slavery. I don't see that. Ever. In the world of eight-figures and up I see the opposite; women oppressed, struggling to compete, and a "boy's club" that is virtually impenetrable for non-boys.

It struck me that someone, somewhere was probably monetizing this; preying on the fears and worries of adolescent boys.

At the same time, I ultimately understand and appreciate the message, presented much, much differently. As presented, for instance, by MRP.

Sure, there are still rumblings of children but they occur far less frequently.

There is extremely valuable knowledge at MRP, knowledge that one can somehow miss in three or four decades of life, even if one has done well otherwise.

There is knowledge that can help you with far larger issues than your girlfriend, significant other, or wife; there is knowledge to help contend with issues of life and even death.

If you are over the age of 16 I would encourage you to try MRP.
If you are not a virgin I would encourage you to read MRP.
If you are not living vicariously through your Sony Playstation I would encourage you to learn from MRP.

I'm glad I'm not lazy because I originally stumbled upon TRP, and had I stayed, would have likely become even more gay than I apparently am... however, I employed a few more Ninja Google tactics, found MRP, and am finally manning up a bit.

TRP is about getting laid, and is highly (and rightly) focused on getting the first fuck from a girl.

MRP is about the man. It's about unfucking yourself so that you're fuckable, and using your wife as a barometer of your fuckability.

MRP often says, "we fix men, sometimes that fixes marriages."

Us married guys have RISK that a single guy cannot comprehend. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in home equity. Access to our children. Availability to unfuck THEM as much as possible. Alimony payments. This is why we say, "don't get married" to the single TRPers.

Ultimately, for me, until I unfuck myself I'm just going to end up in the same damn position again with the next girl. So rather than jump ship and repeat my mistakes; I choose to work on myself, change my low-value behaviors. That will fix me. Maybe it will fix my marriage. That's why MRP also says, "the stay plan is the same as the go plan."

It's been said many times, MRP is TRP on hard mode. It's progressing beyond PUA and the like into the whole picture and building yourself, because when you cohabitate with a female 24x7x365 you can't front confidence and authority and get away with it for long.

Many here will make the claim we married as alphas and became betas as the years went by. In reality, we probably lacked true inner game at the outset and the facade finally cracked away. I think if you fast forwarded 10 years you could probably say similar about most of the denizens of /r/TRP as well.

TRP, I ignore about half the posts, and of the half I do read I skim comments on maybe half of those. MRP and AskMRP I read everything including comments and I've read most of the historical posts and threads going back 18 months or so.

I'm also married with kids and in my 40s, which is probably the core demographic around here. A lot of younger and single people lurk in MRP for the reasons you said, though, it's generally more serious and LTR focused for the most part. AKA "hard mode".

Trp sub is like everyone playing classic Diablo 2. The try, have fun, sometimes they get lucky and sometimes they die and re spawn back in town.

Mrp is like Diablo 2 only hard core mode because if you fuck up and ruin your sexlife / marriage there is no going back to town. You go to the meat grinder.

It's the exact same game just the stakes are higher. When you die on hard core you lose all your shit.

In a perfect world you would get skills playing classic then flip to hard core once you are proficient. It rarely works out that way.
