I'm looking for some help in my continued quest to be attractive (and to not be unattractive).

So I started losing the hair on top of my head several years ago; I've tried various treatments (Rogaine, Nioxin, etc.) but nothing worked and now I've pretty much got the "horseshoe" look going on, with a bit of hair still clinging on top. A few months ago my barber recommended that I try to grow out the hair on top and see if a combover would work; I tried it but don't like the results. I'm strongly considering grabbing this thing by the balls and just shaving the whole thing and going full bald. This would be a really bold move for me and would pretty much shock anybody who has known me for any length of time, but I feel like I'm ready to shake things up and take some risks. I might even do it today.

I'm lifting but still not "big," and I generally think the full bald look is better on guys who have some real muscle on their frame (I'm not there yet), but I also don't like the way my (lack of) hair looks now and I'm running out of other options.

Has anybody tried a full head shave and not liked it? Any good results? For those who have gone full bald, any tips or advice on shaving it and keeping it looking good? Things I should look out for?
