Text game comes over time and most people fuck it up. It’s similar to Heartiste’s rule of a ratio of incoming to outgoing texts and how much you text. Light flirting, teasing, communicating info. It can be great for qualifying a girl, keeping something a little warm until you see them, and then teasing them after. Text can help a little bit but it can also hurt a lot so it’s best to know when it’s applicable. New date coming up? Little flirting can help. Fighting with SO? Keep that to a minimum and handle it in person. Giving instruction? Quick text. Calling helps too and startles some, so up to you, as long as what you do is in your frame. If you’re staring at your phone trying to think of the perfect text, you’re trying too hard and should put it down for the time being. That said, if she’s texting you “I love you” and you don’t want to respond in kind, a little kiss emoji, “see you soon babe” whatever can be good. Context and screenshots always help give us context. The generic advice is that texting is for logistics but this in my opinion is because most guys here have a shit relationship.

You can text your SO. I send mine memes and joke about shit all day. Sometimes I text her that I wish we were home so I could fuck her brains out. Basically, you can do whatever you want but the cardinal rule is to not fight over text. Do not entertain their attitude. Always shut it down. If they call you and repeatedly blow up your phone tell her you will block her number. When she cries because she says, “What do I do if I need you and you blocked me?” That’s when you tell them, “It’s not your problem.”

Once you’ve trained them they’ll behave because they realize you value your time and don’t put up with their crocodile tears.
