Help me better recognize IOIs from random women

My wife's IOIs are clear to me, but I have a harder time recognizing
IOIs from random women on the street or at a store. Of course, I could
be not getting any, but what's the difference between IOIs and a woman
just being friendly or polite? There is surprisingly little in the
archives on this, and I'm still too socially autistic to tell the
difference.
