Availability for dating

Pretty quick one.

I don't date that often. Frankly, I don't feel like it. I'd rather hit
the gym then go home and read. However, I do enjoy the rewards.

Girls I'm chatting to often say things like "too bad you're always
unavailable!"

I do fit them in eventually, but when I feel like and it can take a
week or two before I get to a place when I do feel like meeting up a
new girl.

Am I making a mistake by not striking while the iron is "hot" and
getting the ball rolling within 2-3 days of getting a number and
chatting, or is it good that I'm making them wait because frankly I
just don't feel like going out most of the time?
