Would it be poor etiquette to give the same gift to two people? 10 upvotes | December 2, 2019 | by BePrivateGirl ------------------------- Recently I’ve been listening to “The Book of Joy” on audible. It’s by the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu. It’s really positive, uplifting, and all around fantastic. I’ve been planning gifts for Xmas. I’m going to get my sister in law a piece of jewelry by a local jewelry artist. She’s complimented pieces that I have from him. I got her one with her birthstone. My mom asked for Kohl’s gift cards. She never asks for anything fun. One time she asked for a spoon rest. When she visits me, my brother’s family, (including her grandchild) over the holiday, we are going to surprise her with a Family Photo shoot. I’m thinking of giving both my SIL and my mom a hard copy of this “Book of Joy” as a supplement to the other gifts. But we will all be opening gifts together with my nephew/her grandson. Would it be poor etiquette to give 2 people, in the same room, the same gift? Thanks for your input. ------------------------- Archived from https://theredarchive.com/post/297450
