Because there have been no female presidents of the USA. How many Popes are female? How many leaders of China were female? Of the 2,208 billionaires in 2018 only 242 were female. The cops were there blocking the traffic for us. It was a long march too. Some drivers could find alternates routes, others couldn't. I gave those stinky motorists the big thumbs down, believe you me. People who own fossil fueled machines are lesser people, inferior to me. Maybe you didn't notice but last month there were climate strikes and protests in which millions of people gathered and marched through the streets. I was part of that. I don't think the solution to climate change is protest. However I have been wanting to protest about the matter for a long time. I did a solo protest in March 2019, beside a road.

I think you now have a better understanding of why its not appropriate to leave bags on seats. We can see from the photo that the women is trying to display possession of the two seats with the bag and her seating position. She isn't entitled to this and has overstepped her boundaries. Its not common sense to pander to someone's rudeness. If there are no other seats and someone has a bag on it they are being inconsiderate and behaving inappropriately. If you see this happening the correct response is to remove the items from the seat and place them elsewhere while you take a seat. Any other actions, such as asking them to be moved, are not appropriate.

This is what I do. I pick up the baggage. As I put it elsewhere the owner usually grabs it from me. Sometimes they get angry. Once I had to avoid a hit to the head as someone faked a swig from their water bottle. The rides can then be a little awkward but I have headphones and concentrate on my tablet.

Because you don't need to ask another passenger for a seat. If you buy a ticket you are entitled to an unoccupied seat. The correct way to deal with bags on seats is to remove them without speaking to anyone.
