The fact that you think you know my understanding tells me that you jump to conclusions with little knowledge. Evidence that you fall into the common trap of thinking you know more than you do. For example, nowhere in my comment did I say that we were equal. I simply pointed out that if we were, that doesn't eliminate the ability to be a feminist.. That would be because sexism and traditional gender roles is a large part of it, and you have yet to consider its effects... I mean, do you have anything that suggests that women are naturally incapable of most of these jobs? Or that they naturally have personality types that wouldn't apply for these jobs? It's not irrational actually. And I didn't say that was the entire difference. Obviously there are jobs women aren't physically capable of doing. I never said there wasn't. But most of the jobs you listed arent those kind of jobs. Most of the jobs you're referring to aren't those kind of jobs. Women can be plumbers, thry can work in construction just not ones that are the most physically demanding,etc. But of course less women apply to those jobs, in large part due to gender roles during a time …

I was pointing out that while things have changed the effects of the past are still here due to the small amount of time that has passed.. Furthermore, those blue collar jobs aren't the only essential jobs lol. Nurses are pretty essential and they are mostly women for example. As well as teachers. Other shit like that.
