I did not dismiss the previous posters examples of feminist actions that harmed men. In fact I agree that lots of feminism hurts men intentionally and unintentionally including all of the examples laid out above. I dismissed the previous poster as a whole since he was rude. Not what he said.

I urge you to read some of those if you don't think I've responded to anything or you don't think I care about men's rights. He was capable of being respectful and composed our entire conversation and we ended on good terms. I don't see that quality in you so I would rather not get into it with you.

Every single person in history has been oppressed in certain ways. At that time, men found it to be their role in society to undertake such things. I wholeheartedly disagree. By fighting for women's rights, I am not oppressing men's rights. I am very sorry if you see it that way. I did not say that men or women have it worse. This is a very dangerous thought process and speech in my opinion. I really don't think you read my comment in context. I was simply asked to list specific issues women face. I said nothing about men or men's rights. I said nothing about workplace restrictions. For sure would be a better term but saying I'm also a feminist wouldn't be wrong I don't think. I stand behind and fight for my women's rights until it crosses the line that infringes somebody else's rights or freedoms. In theory feminism doesn't imply special priveliges for women; it just shines a light on the problems they face specifically.

Good to know I never heard that before. If I say that however, unfortunately nobody would know what I was talking about. I would always say I'm a true feminist like what it's actually meant to be.
