While all of this is logical and objectively correct it ignores the main fact that people use Alpha / Beta as placeholders for "Stud" and "Pussy". You're either "hot" or "not". "Winner" or "Looser". This would be much more relevant if you actually went on a date with the guy. As it stands you're commending the guy for having courage and then outright rejecting him because you "like older men...". So what's the takeaway? Shoot your shot? Be polite?
