Thank you, sir. The downvotes don't bother me, probably came from the same types who sat and watched while Iryna Zarutska bled to death. Downvote me a thousand times and I'll still be right.

Okay I am going to have to disagree with you here, the same way I have always disagreed with the people who use "white knight" as a derogatory term. As a man, I feel like it's my job in life to try to protect women and children, the elderly, the disabled, and anyone else who's unable to fight back for whatever reason. The neat thing about this is that I don't have to do this all by myself. All I have to do is to be the first guy in the crowd to step forward, and other men will then grow a backbo…

I worked in an office for 10 years with a lady who divorced her husband during that time. He was a jerk, spent all the family's money on himself, went missing for hours at a time, and she would find someone else's earring or worse in his car. After they divorced, she let it slip one day that he was a beach bum when she met him. So he was probably good looking and she chose poorly. I've heard that very pretty women can be very lonely, because men won't ask them out for fear of rejection. So good …

Posts like this one make me wonder if some of us are really learning anything from this subreddit. We shouldn't be angry at all women just because of the actions of a loudmouthed minority of them. And I would feel sympathy toward a woman in suffering even if she were the one who created this slogan. Granted, the slogan sucks, and I know that sentiment is shared by almost every women who sees it.

No, it's not, but it keeps getting posted over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

This happened in a case I heard about where a coworker was accused of having sex with an underage girl. Supposedly she called him, with police listening in, and asked what she should say when she was questioned. His answer was "Just tell the truth." He was convicted and sent to prison. And then, supposedly, she recanted her story, but the County Attorney said that it would be too much trouble to do anything about it. I don't know how much to believe about the whole story, and never found out wha…

My search for "my wife hits me" using the Brave browser's search engine resulted in an excellent article that included this statement: You'll notice that I said "he or she." Are men at as much risk as women? My experience as a psychologist who has witnessed hundreds of cases of domestic violence has convinced me that both men and women are equally responsible. But I've found that men are far less likely to report their injuries to police, even when sent to a hospital. As a result, people usually…

Fair enough. I suspect the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Unless we are seeing it with our own eyes, we can be manipulated by propaganda.

Update: Women now make up almost 10% of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, serve alongside men in combat positions, and are ensured “equal rights” with their male counterparts under a 2018 law.

The journalist got it. She called April "daft" and "ditsy" and obviously understood that April was a big part of the problem. The people writing the comments understood it too. It's a good thing most women aren't as shallow as she is.

More toward what TheBlackJamMoonWolf said ("people are people and each sex has it's strengths and weaknesses"), I hope, and far, far away from the kind of whiny complaining seen in the thread you shared. We need to stop splitting ourselves into warring camps and sniping at each other, so we can work together to make the world better for all of us.

I don't believe that we are "in a woke phase" now. The "woke" people are in the very small minority, but we keep hearing about them because the news media loves to print sensational stories. That's the way they sell dishwashing soap and hemorrhoid cream. They will find the person with the loudest voice and the most outlandish claims and write a one-sided "news" story about it. The vast majority of women don't hate men, aren't woke, and don't support outlandish claims either. We will see the woke…

I love that video! But he is talking about being questioned by police about a crime when you're a suspect, not reporting a crime being planned. Sure, if you're a suspect in a crime that's already been committed, then it's time to lawyer up, as the video says. But if these girls are conspiring to falsely charge someone with rape, it makes sense to let the police know about it. That might save the OP or some other victim from going through hell. And most police departments accept anonymous tips, s…

As I understand it, the Fifth Amendment applies to someone who is accused of a crime and asked to provide testimony that would prove his guilt. What I was suggesting was a concerned citizen reporting someone who is planning to commit a crime. There would be no guilt associated with that reporting, as far as I can see. If OP is accused of rape, and his defense is that he talked to roommates about it, the prosecution could rightfully ask "If you knew about it in advance, why didn't you report it t…

Here's a different recommendation. Write out a statement about the situation and give it to the campus police. Yes, they are on your side. You don't have to name names, but if you are accused of anything, your statement that you expected to be falsely accused will be in their files and it will help with your defense. So far it seems like you have talked to several people, but put nothing in writing. Document it. They will keep it confidential, and also it may help in an investigation if someone …

That was exactly it. We shouldn't complain about women generalizing about all men and then turn around and do it to them. There are bad actors on both sides, but I believe that most people are kind and decent.

I've heard about this a lot, but never experienced it personally. My (late) wife of 46 years was my partner in life, and neither of us would think of doing something that would negatively affect the other one without talking it over first. The quote I always heard was "If she ain't happy, ain't nobody happy." To me, this meant "Don't do stupid stuff that you know will make her unhappy. Talk it over first and find a way to compromise." Women aren't (all) evil.

That's the first I've heard of International Men's Day. Thanks for pointing that out. I have a Facebook friend who says the same things you do. Men are not what's wrong with the world. Sure, there are some bad ones, but she is proud to be friends with almost all of them.

For example, the rule does not protect groups of people who are in the majority or who promote such attacks of hate. The rule seems to say that any group that encourages "hate attacks" against anyone will be banned. Maybe I'm reading it wrong, and it's hard to know whether rules would be enforced equally.

I saw a few articles from years ago that talked about how women don't feel safe in public with strange men around, and I believed them. It does make sense that women are often the victims in encounters with men, and they do get lots of men staring at them, looking them up and down, undressing them with their eyes, whatever. So I don't look at women in the grocery store, don't speak to them, and don't go near them. And now I've seen a couple of complaints that women are being treated badly by men…

I used to be a big drinker when I was younger. I would get blackout drunk sometimes, do dangerous things, say stupid or hateful things, and take sick days off from work due to painful hangovers. It took me way too long to realize that alcohol has never done anything good for me at all. It has only hurt me and the people I care about. It sounds like you need to come to the same conclusion.
