Anyone think of Craig Robinson from What We Do In The Shadows?

Why is this downvoted? This sub contradicts itself sometimes.

This list comes from where exactly? Italy’s legal system is way more theocratic and fucked than the US.

If you’re ever curious, you can try r/rateme if it bugs you. Then you can figure out if you’re a 4 how much personality it’s gonna take haha +1 to what this guy said though. It might take a couple compliments to reinforce your own self-belief, but I feel like even just believing you’re one of the most handsome guys in the room goes a super long way to others’ perception of you.

+1. Maybe I’m only 22 and don’t know shit, but... Even if there’s many women that want you, if you make her your fiancée - she’s the only one that’s earned you. Don’t be a cheating scumbag to add another tally to your body count. That’s what boys do. Not men.

What you said is perfect I’d say. Women want a guy that other women want.

TheRedPill/comments/6op079/stop_searching_for_approval_a_guide/?st=JQLYZAR4&sh=1892c2c0 (add the first part of URL otherwise automod deletes the comment) I answered my own question. Along with not buying stupid fucking juul pods, getting rid of my need for approval will be 2019s resolution. The “just shut the fuck up” guy who commented... he’s right.

Nothing wrong with journaling. To me personally, those kinda thoughts are things that I’d either say or let be.

I play racing simulations. I’ve raced against and beaten Formula 1 champions, NASCAR greats, and world rally cross champions throughout the years of the simracing’s growth. Tracks are laser scanned to be accurate to 1/100th of an inch. It even gave me the opportunity to become a professional driver in Europe, even. I was medically disqualified due to seizure risks. I am an immensely competitive person. I credit simracing to creating this aspect of me more than any organized sport I played growin…

Nope, that’s the distinguishable scent of butthurt. You can smell it easily after hanging around reddit for long enough.

I tested at 142ng/dL at 22 y/o. Above and outside the range. I still hated life even after cardio/lifting. I’m not an expert, but it’s safe to say we don’t really talk about mental illness a ton around here. That’s fine, no big deal - but going on bupropion fixed my energy levels and didn’t leave me feeling like an antidepressant zombie like SSRIs can. Don’t make the mistake of writing off potential hereditary mental illness. Seeing a psychiatrist to balance brain chemicals (after diet/exercise)…

But a single example can disprove an argument. I understand your point. I’m outcome independent, I try to live like I’m playing a poker hand. I just play the cards to the best of my ability.

She’s got an up tight, traditional family. She’s very anxious, and takes medication for it. Fine by me, I was on the same prescription as a kid. To answer your question, she’s got a stable job, academics, and group of friends. At this point in my other relationship, I was already noticing wack ass signs.

Thanks for the advice. I’ve been watching for signs, don’t worry. No mood snaps or manic bullshit yet, thank god.

I disagree and have evidence to back why. Rollo Tomassi, who people around TRP have always pointed to as someone who gets it, has been married for 16 years. If he practices what he preaches, he wouldn’t stay in an unsuccessful marriage. I’d argue he is living proof it is possible if you adapt the mindset, find a compatible girl, and avoid complacency.

I do a good job with most of these after a year or so of reading and practice. I’ve got the body of a runner, but have recently started lifting. This was good to read, it reinforces essentially what I’ve tried to practice. I still struggle internally with always wanting to compliment like I did in the past, but I keep it to only when it’s appropriate.

Great post. I recently decided to start a LTR. I’ve been with enough girls to know what I want at this point. This is my 3rd LTR, the first two indirectly leading me to all of you fuckers and this sub. Unicorns don’t exist. However, she’s the first one in a while that I enjoyed my time with and saw some sort of future with. She passes all my tests including telling me flat out on our first date “You don’t have to worry about me being one of those whiny feminist girls either.” I thought that was …

I have wondered some similar things too. I’m on the other end of the spectrum. (not that one, dickheads lol). I have blonde hair, blue eyes, tall. For some reason, all 3 of my girlfriends have been within 3cm (1”?) of each other. Short and tiny. Brown hair. Greenish blue eyes, which isn’t the most common thing in the world. They’ve all been the ones to go after me first. (Not bragging, I specified because of the next paragraph) Whereas all the girls I’ve gone after in hookups, 1NS, etc have all …

This might not be a popular answer, but hopefully it’ll resonate with at least one of you if this post didn’t do the trick. This post was well-written by OP, but the content lost me at the end. I read something similar but written as the complete antithesis of this. I killed off that scared kid deep in my conscious instead of nurturing them. The effect is the same. Short, skinny growing-up version of me died 4 years ago and I am infinitely thankful I did it. Life becomes so free when you don’t h…

I wouldn’t care if I didn’t live a day past 30. Live and love every day like it’s your last. (Even tho that is a basic bitch Instagram mantra lol) What’s the point of living if you just want to press fast forward? Make healthy changes and start having fun. Girls come out of the woodwork when shit like your social media feed is exciting, as dumb as that is.

Yeah I’m a lanky motherfucker. No gym, just some running here and there to blow off steam. The girl I’m seeing is a 2hr/day gym kinda person. Didn’t make sense to me either, I had the same question as OP. I’m okay looking, but I legitimately think your fitness only matters to her once she doesn’t feel safe or protected anymore. It’s like one of those pass/fail tests in my experience.

Alright, assuming basics of not using generic pickup lines or cliche compliments... how do you steer the conversation? Isolating someone while making sure they don’t feel uncomfortable is where it seems tricky. She’ll probably be with friends, etc.

Not what I was getting at - I’d be amazed if anyone actually thought out coverzations like that in their head. All I’m getting at is that I might not be opposed to using a ‘my cat peed on me’ next time if had a few at the bar 😂😂

Constructive criticism - The post could really be improved by adding in some sort of substantiation. I lost him in the serotonin thing too, not because I think it's entirely false... but the argument kinda turned into a rant. Also, calling therapists 'corrupt and retarded' is going to divide the audience. I don't think it's much of a secret that a lot of people in TRP have been/go to therapy. My personal experience with therapy has varied, but generally been positive. That point could also stand…

As someone who's been through it at a large Uni, just leave your door open in the dorms. Share some beers, play sports, or make sure to get involved with a student org. or two and you're gonna leave with a big circle of friends if you're a normal dude. But hey if the list helps you out, go for it.

My plan as a freshman in college is to make a list of everyone I meet, and write down everything about them in a list. Their hobbies, interests, personality, mentality, strengths, weaknesses. No judgment as it's really not an awful idea, but that sounds like something straight out of American Psycho or Dexter...
