Disrespecting boundaries is number one. If they are pushy or do something thats not within the realm of a normal hook up (i.e. something kinky we've never discussed). As long as they are attempting to please you and are willing to accept direction I will most likely come back because no one starts off good at sex and partners can vary vastly in what they enjoy. Penis size is actually the opposite for me. I dont really like large penises as I am very petite and don't like to feel like I'm being s…

Yes because I met the people he was friends with benefits with and slept with one of them myself. I guess I should clarify that he by no means looks bad. Just has some qualities you all focus on as being unattractive.

I added his height and weight because this subreddit seems to dwell on those as reasons for not finding relationships. So first you said the vibe doesn't exist at all and that its actually just effort a man puts forward, then say I don't understand the vibe? What I'm describing isn't effort on anyones part. Its a feeling. I genuinely thought all humans are capable of feeling what I'm describing, but I think I was mistaken. Its akin to a first impression, but less to do with physical looks. You a…

Abuse in relationships is very similar to stalkholm syndrome in kidnapped individuals. There are several studies and books about why anyone (male or female) stays in abusive relationships longer than they should.

No one gets with someone and its abusive right off the bat. Abuse trickles into relationships slowly over time.

Average looking Female here. So I matched with my bf on tinder and he isn't your conventionally attractive male. He's about 5'8", 280lbs. He had a kind smile and a kitten in his profile photo. The 'vibe' was right, even electronically. In person the vibe was even better and we meshed instantly. Nothing remarkable about his bio except his interests lined up with mine. So in instances like this, where there isn't any more 'work' he put in other than existing in the same radias as me, whats your ta…

Yes that is correct. I don't sleep with every friend and its not all the time if one enters a monogamous relationship. The majority of the people I socialize with are ethically non-monogomous.

I pretty much only sleep with friends casually, and they are friends first and sexual partners second so I would think my friends would try to help simply because we have an emotional attachment. That being said, I dont think someone not defending me would be a deal breaker for sex. I also have sex with women, and would never want them to become a victim trying to help me. The same goes for a man.

I dont personally attract toxicity, but i understand what you are getting at. Trauma often can often be self perpetuating. If you have so many examples of people having trauma doesn't that prove my point a bit? That trauma is more common than a good relationship? Or at the very least a 1 to 1 ratio? If you ask your current gf, how many of your relationships would you consider good vs bad, what would her answer be? Fundamentally, I dont think the majority or people are 'good' or have good intenti…

To say someone who has experienced something traumatic is a problem is wrong on so many levels. Experiencing trauma doesn't automatically give you issues or make you undatable. I'd bet a large portion of the people you know and interact with have experienced trauma of some sort, but they sure won't tell you with that mindset.

Um. How does it not matter? If half the players show up with no intent to play the game that makes a big difference.

Ha! Traumatic experiences are WAY more common than good partners.

I think there is a key difference in the intentions of those showing up though. A large portion of young adult males are going with the intent of hook ups and one night stands. Not to say that some women arnt there for the same thing. But generally that doesn't equate to a viable option in dating.

Can you explain how women have more dating options than men?

For me, what makes a man desirable is entirely based on his compatability with me specifically. Looks, status, and everything else takes a backseat and only plays a minor role. Romatically I want someone who is capable of giving me the attention I want (which is alot, I'm needy and not afraid to admit it), someone who will have intellectual conversations with me, someone who shows kindness and compassion to animals, someone willing to experience new things , and someone who can communicate clear…

I agree men may face issues while dating online. I don't think it's comparable to the issues children face on social media. The main reason I dont think its comparable is because one is a child, and one is an adult. Adults have the mental capacity to recognize that their self worth doesnt have to be tied to anything outside themselves.

There isn't a grim outlook for men though? Or doesn't have to be. That doesn't have to be anyone's reality. Like you are basically saying men get insecure like 12 year old girls. So what. Human beings in general are insecure. Personal reflection and self improvement can solve that. Someone's value is not defined by their relationship status. I think its unfair to compare growing children to adults.

There isn't a neurotic fantasy for children. Its their reality. They have to navigate the world with limited information, and sometimes don't realize that what they are seeing online is a warped perspective of their reality. You compare it to men dating. What about the act of a man dating is similar?

So I'm gonna go ahead and point out you are comparing young girls who have under developed brains and the detrimental effects that social media can have on them to fully grown adult men dating on the internet. I'm not seeing the comparison.

We like to be vocal about our relationship and bring it up in a convo with mutual friends. For instance, in a nice little get together just be like "Man you would not believe how hard it is to find a threesome partner" Doing so let's people around who overhear who are curious come to you instead. We usually have friends or friends of friends join us, but I understand if that makes you uncomfortable. We also have a very tight knit and open friend group, so we talk about these things regardless. M…
