Granted, it could mean a lot of things. However, there's a difference between the reason something is said and the real drive behind it. The blunt truth is that there are always excuses for shit like this. Anyone can always find a reason not to date someone. Of course, there are always the big ones(you guys are cousins or some shit), but all that "I'm busy balancing my life" or "I just got out of a relationship" are half truths at best- while theyre not expressly false, we've all seen situations…

Eh, I dunno. My standards are low but they're not THAT low. Maybe if I'm drunk enough or on the rebound?

Yeah, it's sad thinking about the amount of opportunities missed by not taking a chance on something. It's really inexcusable if you think about it.

Dude, really? You say something like "Hopefully there is something on this planet that does give you the motivation to try. Be it hobbies or work or family, something in life gives us the motivation we need to put effort into succeeding at a higher level." and you don't see how someone might have a problem with that? I don't agree with some things in this subreddit. That doesn't mean I'm on a quest to bash it. And it's great that you've been to more countries than I have. All I'm saying is that …

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Apparently, others aren't too fond of what I have to say, but I guess seddit might not be the best audience for something like this anyway.

Yeah, I admit it was a gamble of sorts. Still, I think it's absolute bullshit that there is a "correct way" to do it. Sure, kino and body language probably do work for you and a ton of guys out there. That's fine. Does that mean it's right for everyone though? I'm less than convinced. For myself, I don't have any interest in kino or escalation because I have no idea whether or not I want to pursue someone until I get to know them to a certain extent. Most of the girls I would rather keep as frie…

Like I said, my message isn't for guys who ascribe to the common values of this subreddit, and I don't think that's a bad thing. I also won't deny that I have a considerable amount of AA. Maybe it's true that most people don't have as much as I do. Still, for those who do out there, I don't think that it hurts to hear something like this, and I don't necessarily believe that much of what's commonly endorsed around here works for them either.

This is seriously something that pisses me off about this subreddit. Just because I'm not interested in working on "being more attractive" means I have no interest in self improvement? What the hell? I would say that I dedicate around 90% of my time towards becoming a better individual. I study like hell, on my breaks I travel(25 countries and counting), I have a shit ton of hobbies, I do a shit ton of volunteering. Almost everything I do I feel is worthwhile, and just because I freeze up when I…

I've actually lurked here for quite some time. Don't mistake my lack of ascription to certain mentalities as unfamiliarity- I just don't necessarily agree with certain things said here. I also wouldn't encourage a literal reading of everything I wrote- I add certain things to my writing style for the sake of garnish as opposed to making a statement. For instance, I don't literally believe that everyone with awareness of what others are thinking has a large amount of AA. As I said, I'm not writin…

Haha fair enough. Sorry for not answering your initial question- its a bit difficult to answer given the relative standards of attractiveness and lack of context(where you live, etc). Best of luck to you.

Wrong question. You should be asking "why am I uncomfortable approaching here?" Also, you might do yourself some good if you asked instead "how can I feel comfortable approaching anyone at all in (place)" instead of just attractive women.

There are women who don't do that as much; generally, you overlook them because they're not as hot. Both genders have a tendency to overlook large portions of the opposite gender based on attractiveness then bemoan the character flaws that they find after. Chances are, you're doing the same here when you talk about how women put you through shit- you're generalizing all women based on the hot ones you notice.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
