If you think it's the "ultimate disrespect" or "pretty fucking cold" then you're MASSIVELY insecure. I'd suggest taking a deep breath, and laughing. If it's this grave to you, consider remaining celibate until a time you'd be able to face it.

RP has to do with the biological differences between men and women, conservative values, etc. As an aside, RP theory is much more harmonious with ideas of gender identity than feminism. If RP theory states there are immutable differences between sexes, then there is a plausible place to believe that a trans persons brain and body are mismatched. If feminism is right in that gender is a social construct, there is no possibility that this persons wiring was mismatched, as there should not have bee…

Most cultures that eat ketogenic diets aren't really in environments suitable for human life, much less a low stress human life. Grains have been shown to stoke inflammation time and again.

The conviction you have to speak on things you admittedly don't know much about is inspiring. Here's what i know: /r/iama is the most valuable aspect of reddit, hands down. The ama feature is used by celebrities, politicians, musicians, academics, and pretty much any other well known persona. Especially with all of the talk regarding marriage, it really is just cruel. If she's really treated you as well as you're post lets on, you need to man up and plain tell her you don't plan on marrying her. You procrastinating is an act of cowardice, and is just raising the stakes of the breakup.

I've met some in the past, in a lot of ways they remind me of an addict - products of their environment. I'd say I have less empathy for them, because ultimately I feel as though they accept the lows of the relationship for the highs it offers.

You spend time analyzing them and you project your experiences with those individuals (and your personal, biased narrative about them) onto half of humanity, because you think that is doing yourself a favor. So much logic. Are you purporting that you do much better than that? Last I heard, that was all we're able to do. It's hard to reply to this because it is hard to tell if there are typos or what you are trying to say exactly. When a girl tells you to stop, your reaction has to be to pull back, not "rip her pants off." That shit can get you in hot water, and in any case there is much better chance you'll get what you want 15 minutes later after you re-engage. "We shouldn't do this" "You're right, I think you're better as a friend" Being more aggressive is just failing the test.

You're missing the point - a persons DNA isn't going to look over the numbers, decide we are or aren't overpopulated, and flip a gay switch accordingly - people today live in much larger cities and closer conditions than ever before, and this constant exposure would be the mechanism. Grasshoppers exhibit locust-like behavior after they sense enough others nearby - IIRC, after their hind legs have been struck enough times in a minute by other grasshoppers, or some similar time frame.

<citations needed> A marriage is a piece of paper, and guarantees nothing about a relationship other than you know you have weapons to hurt each other with if things go south. People with healthy, happy marriages would carry on perfectly if for some reason they weren't married, as gay couples have already shown. It's a nice piece of paper that certain elements of society have come to decide have meaning, and strive to impose on others, even against their will. Marriage offers nothing to a man ex…

I don't see much rocking the status quo, currently if the bill isn't paid for by corporate interests, it doesn't get play. The dominant political strategy is just to wait out whoever is in power, and refuse to negotiate until you have an advantage. In theory there are three separate schools of political thought - conservative, liberal, and libertarian - but in reality, cash is king.

Yea I'm not sure what the central premise to debate is at all. It's pretty well established that men have a higher variability in intelligence, whereas women's iq tends to cluster towards the mean. If the premise is that trp is dumber than average... Proof? If anything, I'd expect a higher iq than average, as I'd expect many bright but socially inept people to seek a more formal approach to social interaction.

What are you defining as looking for? Are these women you describe equally likely to have a one night stand/ causal sex/ fling with the guy who displays these qualities versus one they'd consider an equal? I find that most women fall neatly into the af/bb paradigm - they'd probably fuck the exciting guy and settle down with the mature, supportive one.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/15 04:33 PM

I suppose our experiences differ then. I usually find these women to be the ones who fuck men and try to get relationships out of it, and who pine after the men who largely ignore them.

She only contacts you so she can tell herself she's a good person, and you're giving her that validation every time you talk to her. Even when you're broken up, shes just interested in using you. Just get even - by being happy and leading a fulfilling life without her.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/15 06:54 PM

Is that true though? I'd assume you'd see some behaviors sooner - calling all their ex's crazy, being jealous, or putting emphasis on how much they 'love' the victim, etc. I'm not suggesting that people knowingly and willingly date abusive partners, but I'd assume their twisted view on relationships would have some tells, though I suppose teasing those out during that honeymoon phase would be difficult.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/15 06:52 PM

I think more emphasis should be placed on congruency. I would prefer a woman with a lower p-count all things considered, but I think what I'm saying is I'm attracted to women who give off low p-count behaviors - women who aren't constantly seeking validation, who value a strong bond over quick thrills, and who are emotionally stable & healthy. I personally don't ask how many men she's been with because I'd just assume they were lying, but if their behavior was strongly congruent with the behavio…

Muscle requires more calories to maintain - the more muscular you are, the more calories have to be burned to maintain that physique. Once you have a solid base with no imbalances to speak of, and need to transition off of the starting strength program, then I'd worry about what the effects of programming are. But worrying about being too big trivializes the effort that bodybuilders put forth to get their results, and just assumes it will happen if you pick up a pair of dumbbells. Don't worry, i…

I disagree. Even if math will not be expressly used in your field, even if you forget most mathematics that you learn, dealing with difficult mathematical material will stretch your critical thinking and problem solving skills like few other fields will ever be able to do.

He said math isn't contingent upon any natural sciences, not that math has no real applications. There's a distinction you're missing. Awesome post. Something I'd like to expound upon: I feel as though many people misunderstand the idea of abstractions, their uses and applications. Even the most complicated of models don't claim to be the only way of describing phenomena, they are useful because they distill a complex subject into less complicated and better behaved components. Newtonian mechanics doesn't cover many concepts we now accept as valid, but it doesn't need to in order to be useful - it just has to capture the essent…

If you're in martial arts and getting punched in the face, you're probably doing it wrong. It's important to focus on styles with a competitive/adversarial aspect; not ones simply going through forms.

It's been extremely accurate in my experience. Those who are least invested have the upper hand, and letting a woman have the upper hand on you is a sure-fire way for her to lose interest in you. Women typically aren't sexually interested in men who are weaker than they.

It's not that her feelings were hurt, it's that they took advantage of her. Even though it was consensual, don't you know there's a 48 hour window after sex to revoke consent? They should have read her mind 48 hours into the future and it would have been plain to see she wouldn't be ok with it. They took advantage of this strong independent woman by treating her like an adult with the power to make her own choices. What pigs.

Stop and frisk specifically targets minorities On a track played Thursday, Deputy Inspector Christopher McCormack was heard telling Serrano he needed to stop “the right people, the right time, the right location”. When asked what he believed McCormack meant Serrano told the court: “he meant blacks and Hispanics.” Later in the tape McCormack says: “I have no problem telling you this … male blacks. And I told you at roll call, and I have no problem [to] tell you this, male blacks 14 to 21. The leg…

Is this real life? I took a sociology general ed class at university this year that literally talked about this exact topic and I couldn't believe it. Do liberals like you ACTUALLY believe that the government is enacting modern Jim Crowe laws (in the form of drug laws) SPECIFICALLY to put blacks in jail? Like I said, black teens use drugs at a lower rate than their white and Hispanic counterparts, but are the main demographic being arrested for it. A black teen charged with the same crime as a w…

Black teens are less likely to use drugs than their white/hispanic counterparts but make up the majority of drug arrests, prosecutions and recieve much harsher sentences for equivalent crimes, by orders of magnitude. The drug laws were created specifically to target blacks, this after drugs were specifically introduced into these communities. This is what is meant by institutional racism, and systems meant to destroy black communities and ESPECIALLY young black men. Fuck O'Reilly, his cherrypick…

But that isn't any other man, and that's an important point. The man dropped Jennifer Aniston at the drop of a hat because he felt like it. He doesn't have to 'prove' he can walk away from a woman, he's done it and he's fucking Brad Pitt - it's assumed he's have no problem replacing her. But if you truly believe women are the weaker sex, then there has to be some point that a woman isn't shit-testing you and truly needs you to be the man and lead her.

This was my thoughts too. His job was to be the leader in the relationship. If you have a wife that sacrificed for you and went against her own judgement because she trusted yours, she's absolutely entitled to be disappointed you didn't deliver on your promise. She held up her end of the bargain as far as I can tell, OP can't say the same. If she looks to you as the man in the relationship, it's your job to be that man and know how to create the best life for your family.

I can concede that may be a high number, but the point is there - she's absolutely not to be underestimated, a high level fighter is absolutely capable of killing someone who doesn't understand what they're doing. But like I noted earlier, there was a high level Muay Thai fighter who underwent gender reassignment surgery and even hormone replacement therapy - they literally dropped his T levels and elevated his estrogen. Even with that, he absolutely wrecked the women he fought, and it wasn't ev…

How the fuck is that appealing to NAWALT? I'm saying that a person who has spent the last ten years training full time to break arms of other high level athletes is probably going to break the arm of the dumbass who thinks he's different. I don't think shes capable of beating a man 20 pounds lighter than her, and women citing her as an example of st…

95%? So you mean to tell me that she would crush a 300 pound linebacker who has only been in a few bar fights? You're delusional. He could hold her down with one hand and two punches later she would be in the hospital. Yea, 95% of men who aren't professionally trained fighters. How many physically fit three hundred pound men do you think there are in the world? Ronda is without a doubt a scary bitch - she will easily destroy 95% of men who are not a professionally trained fighter. But using her as an example of 'girl power' is dangerous and will give women an inflated sense of their capabilities. She is quite literally in the top 1-2% in terms of genetics, trained full-time for the majority of her life, but is NOT in the same league as any male professional fighters or even many amateur/semi-pro fighters. That's like trying to compare a college basketb…

Best comment in thread, hands down: "I'm not sure if I could handle dating someone who did this sort of work, personally. Rationally, I don't see it being an issue. The work is mutually beneficial with safety guaranteed, so I think you should absolutely do it if you feel comfortable with it. The problem would be solely in my head. Like frogma just explained, this is irrelevant because you're trying to compare two completely different scenarios. A girl you JUST MET is different from a girl that you're in a RELATIONSHIP with. I'm currently in a relationship, and I couldn't give a fuck if a guy tried picking up my girlfriend - I know that I've demonstrated way more value over the course of our relationship then any (ordinary) guy could hope to show off in the 5 seconds of just meeting her (no, celebrities like Tom Cruise are…
