I know this comes almost a week later, but I just read this comment. So thank you. Thank you Mods for being by the rules. We don't need any shit coming back on us for no good reason.

I'm starting to think that one of the reasons women love this shit is because it's just another way they get the thrill of being in danger. They think "holy shit this guy could kill me," and what follows is "I better fall in line." That same "in danger" feeling they get from being with a bad boy.

Approaching. If it's someone I know I'm fine, but for the life of me approaching is the most difficult thing for me and I just space (almost) every time. Once I'm in, I'm good and I relax, but before all bets are off.

I disagree. Like OP said, women pay far more attention to shoes than any other accessory. For instance, I have an older sister, who always took an interest in my appearance when I was younger. The thing she used to deride me the most about were my shoes. Even shoes that weren't that worn. If she thought I could afford to, she would ride my case for months until I bought better looking ones, and if I couldn't she would sometimes spring for a pair for birthday/Christmas. Some of my boots, I've had…

Honestly, it's because of something one of my white female friends said to me once. Because of her big ass, she gets hit on by brothers a lot, but when she gets hit on white guys she doesn't enjoy it as much even though she prefers them. The reason, she told me, is black guys are a lot smoother than white guys. When you said you were a black guy as well, I thought about it, and some of the things you've said/done are a lot smoother than most white guys I've ever met or read about doing, real or …

Honorable and alpha are two different things. An alpha is usually a strong/great leader of a group, but as we've seen with history not everything a strong leader does is honorable. Hell, the guy who fucked someone else's wife was an alpha, and that action alone is considered not honorable.

I really love your posts, and not until just now I didn't realize how similar we think. One thing that sticks out is that I have also done the "prodding" with friends and past girls. Watch how people act in certain situations, and how to change that behavior to help me. I look forward to more of your posts, especially the machiavellian ones.

I have actually had one of my friends say what Trevor said, "I don't believe in being an asshole." He was more worried about a girl's opinion of him, one who he would never see again (or ones who he really didn't give a shit about) carry more weight than his own happiness. It kills me sometimes. Granted, I do have to do better myself. I often find myself caring more about stranger's (male or female) opinion of me when it's not really not that serious of an issue. But the fact that the gender of …

True, but condom plus BC, are a lot more effective that neither. Not to mention there are two narratives floating around. One they do use it, the other they don't. I'm willing to bet parts of each one are needed to make the true story.

You're on the right path. It's also in part control of your emotions and reactions to things. Reacting to every little thing is not an attractive trait.

That's part of it, but he's personifying stoicism. Part of the Red Pill is being in control of yourself. You can't control how people act around you, but you can be a man and control your emotions and reactions to what happens to you. Like your example, it makes you harder to read, and often it makes other people try harder for your approval.

The way I see this is the interactions between Calvin Candy and Django in Django Unchained. Candy was very interested in Django, and dare I say, impressed with his behavior and the way he handled himself. But he didn't go all "OO AH" over it. He held himself in reserved, and watched Django with a careful eye. That's what I think he means when he says, "Alphas are never impressed." They are, but they don't swoon over it like a woman would.

Men who like themselves don’t have time for women who steal happiness or make their lives harder. You have options with other women who don’t. Honestly, this is one of the first problems I had to solve right before and after I started to take the pill. It was something I struggled with for a while because I thought so little of myself. But one day, I just had enough. I refused to continue thinking I was worthless. The saying is true, you act as you think.

Personally, I've found that if you want to be contribute or post in another subreddit without getting shit for being a Red Piller, then just use an alt. I have several, and if I make a post that I want people to actually take seriously without pointing fingers and saying "RED PILL!" I switch over. I also make sure none of them are any way connected to my red pill account. I'm sure there are others on this and TRP who use this strategy.

The way to go about this, is to not go about this. /u/LAZY_MUFFIN_SCOUT is right, you don't shit where you eat. She may work in a different department, but she works close enough to you that life could be bad if something happened. Second of all, you sound like you don't have a ton of experience with girls, which isn't a bad thing. However, you need to gain control of yourself. This post reads as if she's driving you crazy by these little things. If this is all it takes to get you in a fluster, …

I think you're misunderstand what I've said. I was trying to decide on whether or not to say "a man is someone who does not respect anyone more than someone else" or "a man is someone who is not a respecter of persons." That phrase "respecter of persons" means everyone is equal; everyone is given a basic amount of respect, no matter what status, wealth, or anything else they may have. If someone has great skill in an area, big whoop. If they're an asshole or a cunt, they will be treated as such.…

This is often what I've thought about when I think of getting married, having kids, and being a man. I like to call myself a young man because 1) Duh, I'm still very young (24) and 2) I'm not a grown man yet. I'm a legal adult for all intensive purposes. I go to school, I have a job, a house, and bills to pay, but that is hardly anything that should make me a "man." It's true, we all have our own personal struggles. I have a pornography addiction I'm overcoming (no pun intended), and working on …

Start simple. Something like the 5x5 method is a great introduction. It has it's flaws, but they don't matter to an absolute beginner. They call it 5x5 because you do 5 reps of the exercise 5 times. Rest in between. 5 exercises to lift to. Deadlift , Overhead Press Bench Press , Standing Row Squat Google those exercises and start there. Some people disagree with the 5x5 method for attaining maximum potential, but everyone agrees those 5 exercises are the most important exercises to do. TL;DR goo…

/u/nicethingyoucanthave is right. You want to have a girl that is worth doing all those things for. Someone who is worth taking out, someone who is worth spending time with. Right now, it seems all the woman in your life lack the substance that you need/want. The point of the red pill is to give you the tools you need to deal with women on any platform: dating, plates, work, ltr, etc. Now that you've swallowed the pill, you're better suited for the type of relationship that you wanted to have in…

You have to start new and Good habits one by one. You should probably try monk mode first and focus on yourself and not necessarily going out just yet. The first should be lifting. Lifting will make your body stronger. As your body gets stronger, it will start to figure out how to efficiently fuel you with energy. This is key to having more energy. Your mind will also feel stronger as well. You'll understand it when it happens. Reading is next. You need to start changing how you think and see th…

I would say yes. While some of my good guy friends have more far more alpha tendencies than others, I can honestly say that the lot of them are great friends. My biggest core of friends I met through my best friend. He and I went to high school together. After we graduate we both went to a local technical colleges, and he introduced me to the group of guys he made through church. Most of them were away at college, but we played PC games and skype became our man space. Now, everyone in this circl…

I haven't been reading this sub for long. I started by in November because No Nothing November caught my eye. I had heard of it over a year ago, but dismissed it because of a friend's inaccurate opinion of it. When I first started reading TRP, all I saw was the anger/hatred. I didn't get it. I thought, "For guys who are trying to date women, they really don't seem like they like women." Then I read a post about how male spaces are starting to disappear, and it was right. Male spaces are disappea…

Honestly, I think we need more posts like this. I'm fairly new here, I haven't decided long term yet if I want to have a family. However, if I do, I would like to be equip with the tools to manage one. I understand a lot of the non-single RPers here discovered TRP after getting married or in their current LTR. A lot of the consensus, and rightfully so, is very caustic towards marriage and LTRs. But despite that, I still believe that this is an important topic to discuss rather than letting the o…

What I said still applies. The joke is men rule over their women, so him telling her not to think for herself is him ruling over her. He has not given her permission to think for herself.

He is saying that because she is a woman, he does not want her to think for herself. It's a joke meaning that only what a man thinks is important.

Although this is the Internet, I'm saying this is my opinion as a black guy. Anyway, what I've noticed two things: 1) Some black men tend to like bigger women so it's more acceptable. 2) Telling a black woman to lose weight is more likely to have greater consequences than telling a white woman to lose weight.

I think you're missing what OP is trying to get across. He's not saying that because we're men what we say or do goes, he's saying that we are the initiator. We are the ones who get the ball rolling. He's not saying ignore anything she's saying or wants, but if we want something or to do anything, we have to take the lead and start the process.

I agree wholeheartedly with that. The shame that comes with it isn't really discussed, but in the subreddit, the shame isn't really the act itself, it's the dependence on it. For some of them, it maybe difficult to separate the two. For some of them, I think abstaining is better because they are likely to fall back into their old habits and fapping keeps them from actually going out into the world and developing a health sexual relationship with someone else. Instead I would encourage them to ac…

Point taken, and I agree with what you're saying though I wouldn't really call it an art. I'm not really arguing that sexual release in a health manner is bad, what I am arguing is /r/NoFap is supposed to be a support group for people who need it. But you're right, that validation, that praise should come from within, but you and I both know that at times having someone else notice or having someone else's praise or congratulations for doing a good job is a great feeling. Often times that one pe…

You, I like you already, and civilized is the only way I know how to argue. The purpose of /r/NoFap, at least my understanding of it, is simple: not fapping. It was created to help people who have an addiction to pornography and masturbation, and eventually stop the dependence on it. While a lot of people believe that being on no fap magically gives powers, and helps you approach women, it doesn't. However, I would argue the confidence gained from it, similar to that of the confidence that is ga…
