the idea of being with a no fun, not spontaneous, not funny, not affectionate and unemotional man is repulsive. what exactly would i want that for? my husband is "stoic" in the face of danger and sadness and MY emotions in the sense that hes unflinching, but hes funny and loving and talks all the time and makes up skits and does all the voices, hes a passioante lover etc. how would i end up seeing the man described more than once? he sounds like a dud who doesnt like me

its so bizarre to think it flows in that direction rather than the other. the same traits that caus emen to amass status cause them to be attractive. i have almost never known the "Status" of any man i hooked up with, nor did they have any. attractive male physical presence emulates high status behavior, its a parlor trick that fools women on a pre rational and subconscious level

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
