You get an F for reading comprehension. Go back and read the parent again.

This. It also makes your brain more sensitive to dopamine, since you're no longer flooding it with dopamine 24/7. Little things, like riding your bike down a hill, become thrilling again.

There's a difference between hard work and masochism. In the former, you're doing something that sucks now for a larger payoff down the road. In masochism, the pain is the payoff. So no, "do it if it sucks" does not lead to masochism. At least, not unless you're already prone to such things.

There are numerous experiments that proven how music positively influences one's life. I'm going to call bullshit on this one. If you have links to studies where listening to music "positively influences one's life" (what does that even mean?), I'd love to see it. Most of the studies I'm familiar with have more to do with paying music than listening to it passively.

If you find you are less functional without music, then it wouldn't be wise to cut it out. I would argue the opposite. If you can't function without music, you have a bigger problem.

it is a form of media just like a book or movie, going to ask me to throw all those out aswell? Yes for movies, no for books. If you haven't yet, you should look into a book called 'The Shallows' by Nicholas Carr or the research of Marshal McLuhan. Media has a profound effect on the physical formation of our brains. TV and movies cause the brain to literally atrophy and decay, whereas reading books strengthens key areas. That said, certain types of games can be beneficial. Tactical and strategic…

Ever take a look at the book "SJWs always lie" by Vox Day? It's supposed to be a step by step guide to identifying and weathering legbeard attacks.

P.S. If you like the Kevin Spacey version of House of Cards you will probably also like the BBC version that the current version is based on. The acting might be better in the BBC version, but there's something about it that makes it hard to sit and watch it. Maybe I'm spoiled by modern cinematography.

It passes. At some point, these stories no longer enrage because they're so damned common. These days, my thoughts drift towards how to remedy the situation. I'm currently researching what it takes to get on a college's board of trustees. Get enough Red Pill people on enough boards and this shit stops.

edit: I honestly pray for the day where we have some kind of widely used lie-detector type device that's admissible in court to settle this kind of shit; hook person A and person B up to the machine, have them speak (or think, depending on the technology) their piece, and presto you've got an automatic Minority Report style verdict, no lawyers, no jury, just the objective truth. It wouldn't work. You don't have to lie to tell a falsehood. Also, women are hard wired to believe their own bullshit.…

it's not actually immigrants The number of women hospitalized from their "not a rape" with immigrants would beg to differ.

Muslims do not allow their women to be with a man alone. If she choses to be one on one with a man she consents. Simple as that. Oddly enough, it's pretty much that way in Japan as well.

Wow. It used to be you couldn't have one of these threads without more than half of the commenters being INTJ. How things have changed. I'm INTJ, btw.

much of Protein powder is mislabeled and filled with crap fillers. So buy a brand that isn't. Drink Egg Whites what it says on the label is the amount of Protein you are actually getting. Only 51% of what's listed, unless you cook them. http://jn.nutrition.org/content/128/10/1716.full
