Well, there goes your understanding of the fact that the first amendment applies to the govt, not to private entities.

Meh, we're just better at it. We're built for war. Or rather, we're built to be stronger which is what war requires. Take any top olympian male and compare their scores with the top olympian female in the same sport and the male always wins out. I don't consider that objectification, just efficiency in choosing the best person for the job. If women were, ON AVERAGE, more biologically fit for war, our govts would use and toss them as freely as they do men. It's not sexist. It's just a matter of c…

I think both genders arguing this are fucking stupid. We objectify people daily. It's not wrong. Sometimes it's sexual, sometimes it's not. You go to McDonalds to buy your fatty McBurger, you give the cashier zero attention or thought aside from the automatic greeting and response thrown between you two and the order. You just objectified that cashier. And you aren't a bad person for doing so. That cashier's life, their goals, hopes, dreams, problems... none of that matters to you. To you that c…

I'm all for some men's rights action any day of the week. Given how we're vilified at every turn. But as a business owner, if I offered a deal to try to encourage more ladies to play our games, so be it. That's my marketing strategy and that's what I'm doing. If there's public outrage and shitty PR, then it'll come back to bite me in the ass. If a large group of my male players quit or boycott, so be it, my company will pay the price for my hubris.

Despite coming from growing up with a single mom who actually busted her ass to take care of me and my shitbag brother, child support definitely needs some sort of accountability tied to it. For all money spent, there need to be receipts and records of what it was spent on as well as a limit on how much money can be awarded per child.

If you've been married that long and she's behaving like this, I'd assume cheating, definitely. Any sudden change in behavior sends alarm bells in my head ringing. And of the three times it's happened to me, I went all secret agent and found out that, yes, I was being cheated on. Luckily, never married, so I go out of all those situations mostly unscathed. But my spidey sense is never wrong when it comes to shit going down around me.

We do a mix of both. For a while he was doing services via the web on the side, and has plans to pick it up again for certain things, but we run a gaming company together with a third friend right now and are working on releasing a project this summer. Normally we just code and run private servers (closed source, we don't follow the open source projects).

Last but not least, there are no great British young geek superstars for them to relate to, male or female. Sorry but I nor anyone I know got into programming because they looked up to any "superstars of programming". The fear of exposure to ridicule is important and is why I reckon Good, glad you found the root cause dear writer. With your vast years of experience in psychology and your peer reviewed data showing that this is why fewer girls participate, I will gladly accept this as fact. In my…

I'll be the first to say that my legs look fucking amazing when shaved (it's not something I maintain, just happens when I'm bored in the shower). Shit, I can't stop touching them for like an hour after I shave them. Otherwise though, i do try to keep the chest forest in check and my underarms shaved (feels cleaner).

True story: I was coming home from the grocery store one night. It's about a 2 mile walk and I had two bags in each hand. We had about a foot and a half of snow and it was still snowing hard. I was about a quarter mile started and a car pulled up next to me, guy rolls down the window and offers me a ride. I accept given the weather conditions and distance I still had to cover. I wasn't murdered, raped, or robbed. Some people are just trying to be nice. And I REALLY appreciated not having to do t…

Pretty much. If my target demographic was... well... me, then I'd hire cute nerdy-type females to represent my company. It's not sexist, it's a marketing strategy. Just like Hooters has hot girls serving wings. It's just the brand they're trying to sell. And girls sell more things to guys than guys selling to guys.
