I invite you to consider that you may have a fundamental misunderstanding of what stoicism teaches and the context of indifference: Stoicism is a set of principles to guide thought about one's emotions so as to create a life that has meaning for oneself. The semantics come down to this: to be indifferent to outcomes, not one's emotions. To make decisions based on reason, not on the passion of the moment.
