Also, there are 23.8 deaths per 100,000 births in the USA. So women die all the time, and that is just during child birth. 1	Roe v. Wade Mega-Thread They are incredibly accurate. Ventriculomegaly has to do with the ventricles in the brain. Are you saying MRIs are notoriously inaccurate? First they do a scan, then another kind, then an MRI, along with all sorts of other testing that I didn’t need since his ventricles shrunk. This stuff is quite accurate. I was on a page with thousands of these mothers for this issues. 99% of the time the doctors were right about the quality of life the child would have. I’m married to a very pro-life man and if I ever accidentally got pregnant, we would want to abort. We have one child. We don’t want another. 1	Roe v. Wade Mega-Thread How is that obscuring anything? Everyone knows a pregnancy lasts about 40 weeks. Also, as someone who has been pregnant, the anatomy scan is at 20 weeks and that’s when fetal abnormalities can be found. My son was diagnosed with ventriculomegaly in the womb. Had it been severe he could have been born with no quality of life, never being able to eat without tubes, confined to wheelchair, and unable to talk.
