All of the single moms I know were put together women. They got married or were in a relationship with lesser men; they are all now remarried to great men. There is only one I know who was involved with a drug addict; she was a teenager dating an older guy and had no clue wtf was happening. After she got pregnant, she found out what he really was, cut ties with that guy, and she is genuinely a great mother with a well-behaved, kind daughter. After reviewing cell phone logs and video surveillance, investigators discovered that she was never at the trail at the time she alleged and falsely reported the rape.
