Maybe I’m overconfident! But, I have no problem telling anyone, male or female, to mind their own business. I’ve had the cops called on me several years ago when I confronted my daughter who ran away from my house (divorce->parental alienation->police involvement). I was just talking to her on the side of the road when 2 cops pulled up. One officer (female) went to her and the other came over to me. The (male) officer kept on telling me to show my hands like I was concealing a weapon (which I wa…

I’ve been a single dad for years now. I get looks all the time. Who gives a shit what other people think? That’s their problem. Seriously. Don’t let it bother you. I’ve become a professional at ignoring the pervasive bullshit in my life. Trust me, you don’t need everyone to like you. And, who gives a shit if some insecure female thinks you’re pedo? That’s their problem, isn’t it? You should be concerned if say, maybe, your female friends stare uncomfortably at you ;). They are the ones that know…

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I don’t even engage people like that. Let them call the cops. Who cares? I’ve been a single dad for many years and I’ve gotten all sorts of looks and whatnot while I’m at the playground with my kids. I never gave a crap. People can think what they want. That’s their problem, not mine. You’ll be amazed at how much easier it is to just not deal with the crazies.

The author of the article makes a specific point commenting on the ACLU’s message on national men’s day of “men can have periods”. Don’t ask me what that actually means, but that’s the association with the title.

Buckle up dude, it’s a rough ride. As long as there is money, the courts. lawyers and the ex will gladly take it. Took me 6 years, but theres a light at the end of the tunnel. Keep fighting the good fight and don’t give up. It is HARD for men in divorce because of all the obvious bias. Sorry you have to deal with this crap. I’m a hardened divorce vet. I can’t tell you how significantly different my outlook on life is as a result of my experience. Not jaded, but a lot more real about how the worl…

My favorite line from my ex wife was, “I’ll pay my own bills, just write me a check!” Hahaha. It’s a good thing I have a sense of humor :).

As a father who has experienced this first hand (without the happy ending), I’m happy that there’s at least one judge that recognizes how destructive this is. I lost my eldest daughter to bullshit like this. Family courts are strange in that behavior that would be considered criminal in any other context is treated as “no big deal” just because you were married. I will never understand that logic. If the courts actually treated criminal behavior (child abuse) as criminal, maybe that would dissua…

Are you saying that the pamphlet should actually be: “Before you date an older guy, maybe you should consider becoming a lesbian?” I like it!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
