So, reading this, I think you're making the same fatal mistake that a lot of men do. You're looking at the facts, not the emotions. Women want a man who can -lead- them emotionally. They -want- to want someone. But to do that you've gotta turn them on. Everything else is just an excuse for them to either justify to themselves and their social group why they're either staying with you or leaving you. What you've given them is more reasons to stay with you, which is great, but it doesn't sound lik…

This is a big one. Even if it’s just the arm or shoulder - this shows comfort with him. If he wants to escalate, this is one of those signs that will most likely get him to.

From what I’ve seen, guys frankly aren’t trying as hard as they used to. I think some women see this and are taking control of the situation. Also, social skills in general have gone downhill in the internet age. It reminds me of old scene where the Dad who complains that his son doesn’t know how to change oil, and the son yells, “You never taught me!”. In a certain day and age, what automatically happened due to environmental pressures now takes extra time and effort.

If someone catches my eye, there's usually something specific that caught my eye. Could be body, hair, outfit, shoes, jewelry, the way they walk, some knowledge they spouted, a skill they showed (pool hall, for example), etc. Whatever it is, I just go with authenticity. Could be an authentic compliment, or an over the top 'Daaaamn!', or casual teasing. If I notice something I can help her with, I quickly help her with it and continue with my business. Women, especially attractive ones, usually s…

Just wherever I was at the time. Grocery stores, pool halls, sit in restaurants, etc. Usually places I was going to be at for a little while. I never went out of my way to find a place to approach people, I just went to the places I wanted to anyway and if I saw someone there who caught my eye, I’d chat her up. After that, I’d let her escalate to the next step. For example, I’d have a quick playful chat for a few minutes and then go back to what I was doing. If she came back to reinitiate a conv…

I loved cold approaching because it allowed me to rapidly experiment with different approaches because they have no context and predetermined bias of who I was. Kinda like famous comedians going to hole in the wall comedy clubs to test material. At some point people will laugh just because that’s their rep. But to know if something truly works, it has to be divorced from who they’ve been in the past.

There’s a fine line here, but I think the spirit of your post is good. Just go around spreading joy as much as you can. Have fun. Be in the moment with people. And don’t try to ‘ capture them ‘. And when you gotta go, you gotta go. If you have an attitude of freedom and fun, it will attract more freedom and fun, and the people who like that sort of thing.

The part about you exhibiting the characteristics is key. You attract who you are.

Okay, hear me out. If you're just looking to have fun for a night or two and not looking for anything serious - go to guy's amateur night at the strip club (where amateur guys get up and strip). I was in town for a while and an old friend called me up to hang out. The only time I had available was during her friend's bachelorette party. After chatting with her friend, she invited me to come with, so I went. Holy Jesus fuck that place was nuts. Hundreds of women in a place it's socially acceptabl…

Immersion. Immersion is good. If you’re afraid of water and can’t swim, don’t go jumping in to the deep end first and expect good things to happen.

I’d like to add one thing: it’s not about you. It’s about -her-. Get out of your head and pay attention to what she’s doing and saying. Every new woman you meet knows fuck-all about you, and is generally open to some fun and adventure -from people that aren’t trying to control her-. If you listen and read her well, you can figure out how to help her be more open to it. And don’t focus on fucking her. Just focus on practicing being comfortable around women, and showing them a great time. If you d…

Good post. Many men need to learn how to lead themselves first.

You are being used. And the kicker is, you put yourself in that situation. If you dig deep down, you'll find that at some point you started mentally attaching strings in exchange for you helping her out. It probably happened where there were times where you might have rather done something else, but agreed to watch her kid to help out. Either way, what frustrates you is that she's not reciprocating. This is a failed relationship premise that I see guys getting into all the time. Being friendly i…

This sounds like another guy I tried to help. He had women on such a high pedestal that he couldn’t talk to them. He was too scared that he wouldn’t get their approval. He couldn’t get it through his head that girls were just other people.

You’re mistaking physical attractiveness for social attractiveness. As long as you’re okay looking, women value the second way more than the first. Those dudes with the hoodies? You have no clue what their status is.

I didn’t mean to abandon them – that would be shitty. I meant find another one in addition. Sounds like your wheels are turning.

I know this feeling. I was about the same age too. If it’s what I think it is, you’ve lost your purpose. You’ve gotten good at doing what you set out to do, but now you’re not even sure why you’re doing it anymore. It’s okay. Learn to listen to yourself again. Especially when it scares you.

Not sure why you’re being downvoted - positivity and a good time can turn other dudes into unintentional wingmen.

Easy route, especially if you’re autistic, just take the opposite perspective and/or own the frame. If he asks why you’re so shy, say something like ‘why are you so fuckin’ loud’ or whisper a response like ‘to make you listen.’ Keep in mind, not every comment that isn’t what you want to hear is a neg. If you start thinking that way you may end up with NPD. It’s important to pay attention to tone. That can be hard to do over the phone.

Learning to be okay and not take it personally when people aren’t into you is a core skill. Not everyone will like you, but the percentage that will definitely increases themore you work on yourself and your skills.

Learn to invest in yourself. Luxury goods aren’t an investment in yourself. Any person with money can buy them, and thus buy your status. Focus on the shit that can’t be bought - Discipline, Skills, Fitness, Confidence, Self-Respect. The rest will fall into place.

To clarify, if she’s intentionally doing it to make you mad or if she knows that it bothers you and continues to do it anyway out of habit, then it’s probably not going to work out. It’s best to acknowledge that early on, and date others. If she unintentionally made you mad, then that’s easily solvable. However, early in dating, most people haven’t invested enough into the relationship to warrant that change. If you sit down to have that conversation, fully expect her interest to drop off. Also,…

If you’re dating, just say thanks but no thanks. If you’re in a committed relationship that you see a potential future in, talking it out to attempt to reach common ground is the way to go. If that doesn’t work, then, as hard as it may be, respect yourself enough to walk.

Or, as someone who cares about the person they’re dating, you could appreciate their concern for your date’s safety, reassure them that if she’d like to break things off she’s always free to do so, and let them talk to her alone if the parties interested so desire. Actions over words, and genuine empathy and honesty go a long way for everyone. You may even sway a few hearts and minds to your side.

Then you reject him. And he moves on. He’s honest with his intentions (he thinks they’re cute), and is just checking if they’re interested in chatting. That’s it. Honesty doesn’t require proof, just acceptance of any potential response to it.
