It just sounds like you posted this in the wrong subreddit. Did you mean to post it in r/theredpill instead?

Reading this as a woman, it feels like I am just a slab of meat. Do women continue dating you when you reveal this unpopular opinion to them? Or do you avoid sounding like an asshole in front if the "pussy" you are trying to sleep with?

It's a common fear among rape victims that people will be revolted by them or pity them. I guess it's a common fear for a reason! Who will want them after they've been so shattered?

Why does it always sound like the people on this sub who lean red always talk about some weird imaginary movie-like sort of zombified women who most women on the sub don't seem to be able to identify with? Like, as a woman who has known other women and even dated women and men, all I can say is "seriously wtf are you talking about?"

As a woman, I realized the deck was stacked against me early. So I did a BA, graduated top of my class, and went on to do an MA in an extremely narrow field. I trained at gyms, took up other sports like climbing, kept fit and healthy for all the while. I quit makeup because it was never my thing and stopped wearing a bra because it bothered me. I still managed to get harassed on a near daily basis. I was underpaid at 3 of my jobs for being a woman. I had stacks of extra work thrown at me. I was …

He would understand that "no" means "no". You can't just take the high road after approaching a random person who shows no interest in you and doesn't know you. In fact, stay away from random people in a non-dating context.

Okay so, here we go. First of all, I'm a feminist so you can know where this is coming from. I'll try to break the argument down. in this thread i had a long and ludicrous argument with several TRPs and MRPs that the fact that women get loads of "attention" from unattractive men is some kind of "Advantage" It is, and it isn't. It is when you're a sociopath and you want to gladly manipulate others, so you enjoy everyone being creepily fond of you. It isn't when you are just trying to live a happy…

You would, but then again, if we could get all adults to wear condoms, we'd be better off to begin with. Truth is, we can't, and it is still not a good argument to close down abortion clinics. What if you first wanted to have a child, but right after pregnancy you lose your job, what do you do then? It's not for us to rationalize the reasons behind abortion, but to provide safe abortions for those who seek it, and interviews prior to it for both parents, if we must. Instead, women will still hav…

That's not how shit goes down. I agree that protection is really important but bad things happen, condoms break, you miscount the days. There are more ways to get pregnant than to protect yourself from pregnancy. One day off your pill and your whole month is compromised.
/r/MensRights27/01/17 08:39 PM

I was wrong. Women who are already mothers have more abortions than anyone else, and by an increasingly wide margin. When Guttmacher Institute researchers last ran the numbers in 2008 they found that 61 percent of women who terminate a pregnancy in this country already have at least one child. That was before the recession, though—before the poverty rate rose to swallow 40.7 percent of women who head families, many of whom know they can’t afford another child. [...] a whopping 72 percent of NAF …

This is hilarious given the fact that most women who seek an abortion are actually mothers who've had children before, and are making an informed decision.

I don't know, to me it all sounds like made up rubbish, whether used to describe or women. Yes, there may be psychological trends due to biological and/or cultural reasons, but they are never as devastating and gender-specific as we make them to be.

Oh no, sweety, trust me, when you get followed by strange cars to your own damn house, you very well notice every man around. Besides, if some x type of women only see the attractive men in a group, what does that say about the x type of men who do not only do the same, but also brag about it in music, lyrics, movies, etc? Of only being able to see "that single radiating girl in the room"? All this culture centered around women being pushed to look more appealing to men, that doesn't say much ab…

I am really surprised at so many people missing the point. First of, let me say that her actions are in no way excusable. She claims that her crimes were the result of growing up poor and being abused as a child. And now she's a women's rights activist who gets invited to speak at the largest feminist rally in recent history. That's what an ex-con would say, obviously, one that won't admit they were wrong. To be more specific to answer your question, I should note that having emotional intelligence means you need to be self-aware and capable of self-assessment, and sociopaths by definition do not possess either. They are intelligent in other ways, know how to read "cues" of people, and are often interested in "body-language" reading. However, the way they read emotions is different. In other words, imagine you see a little boy walking down the street and their icecream cone falls to the pavement. …

Well, since you ask... the basics of being a sociopath is being devoid of actually empathy (again, high emotional intelligence = high/balanced empathy). They are certainly smart enough to superficially look as though emotionally intelligent, wary of others' needs, etc. However, on the inside, they are incapable of feeling remorse or emotions for the person they are manipulating. True emotional intelligence includes managing your own emotions while being a good listener and advisory to others. In…

They're both an issue, but hey, yeah sure, keep pretending that we can only care about ONE thing at a time, rather than both. It seems that feminists want to take the lead because Trump's comments are sexist, but I don't agree with how they'd hijack the event to their credit when so many others, especially men, are joining in. But if they organized it, then they should get credit for that. Trump hurts everyone, men, women, transgender people, LGBTQ+, children, sick people, healthy people... you name it.

I'm sorry, you can't be "more equal" than someone. Besides, the angles from which we view feminism are pretty different, but the core movements starting from the first wave of feminism did nothing but attempt to establish equality between the sexes. Where are all these sluts? are they even real? do sluts mostly hang out with other slutty type people? I don't know what you mean by "sluts", but it seems you are referring to real, normal, genuine women who have things their way. One reason you might not know any is because we are generally not interested in people filled with so much insecurity that they have to go around calling us "sluts".

No, because I don't claim that women universally have it bad in certain cases, but simply that his argument lacks that significant part of the problem, by generalizing ideas to include all women worldwide or completely disregard women from other cultures who still maintain a presence on reddit as well.

Supported by what statistics, I wonder? Men are more likely to be raped in general, and even if you take out prison rape, men still make up over 40% of the cases. Problem is, most female on male rape isn't classified as such since envelopment isn't seen as the same as penetration. See, here's your problem because I already AGREE AND ADVOCATE that in my home country where anal* penetration isn't classified as rape, but rather something called "hatik 'ard" in Arabic, forcing so many men to never r…

Up to 99% of all women in Egypt experienced sexual harassment or assault, both verbal and physical. The only way in which your statement could be made so boldly is if you don't believe harassment is a crime. It is. And yes, in America, men are more likely to be victims of violent crimes, yet you forgot to mention this is for but one exception: rape. Put rape into the equation as it should be, since it is a violent crime, and we end up on pretty much equal footing. My point is, I could pull out s…

Yes, and if it isn't illegal, it should be. But what you're doing here is completely throw the cultural side out of the window. I have been a feminist activist for years and I am yet to meet a single feminist who's a non-asshole that for any reason would support the oppression of men. As for your latter comment, it's very clear that "men" are a general representation. Oh, I'm sorry, I guess I should have just used the longer version of patriarchy. Errrrm, every single type of feminism that is not feminazi recognizes tgay patriarchy harms both men and women and looks down on gendered speech... There's nothing wrong with that. But also, women need sex as well. In fact, everyone needs sex except for asexuals. But let me ask you this, why can you not function normally without regular sex? Well, it's funny how she got less time than many rapists! And no judge thought this jail time would "ruin her future" to give her any less. Too bad she's not a swimmer! Also, this is a very gentle reminder that this only made news BECAUSE it rarely ever happens. ;) Here's something that OFTEN happens: [97 out of every 100 rapists get no jail time] (https://www.rainn.org/news/97-every-100-rapists-receive-no-punishment-rainn-analysis-shows)

There's something called unlearning. I may sound a bit too supportive compared to numerous comments here, but that's just the way I am. What you are feeling is completely normal for most people. It's the way most people go on with their lives. It's amazing how you came to realize that. Now it's time for you to do two things: (a) unlearn this, and this is a big and horrible process where everything you've ever known as a person or man will be questioned, and (b) exercise different thinking skills…

I'm not surprised at all, because this is how the world is and it's not so surprising. I'm a feminist and don't think anyone should have more rights than anyone else, but the thing is, to most people, their talk is just "normal men talk" and not even deemed "hateful". What we'd need to do first is counter their arguments in such a way that the world will finally realize how full of shit they are. I don't think they themselves understand how full of shit they are.

Both views seem to have no historical accuracy beyond upper-class and seem to be oddly exaggerated. Yes, this might have been the case for upper class women, but what about the rest? Even though my grandmother was a "stay-at-home" wife, she still had to garden and plant (that was how most people got a second income for food those days) and raise cattle while my grandpa worked at a small minimarket selling goods. This wasn't their preferred choice anyway, but that's how economy was those days. If…

Because Reddit, like the real world, is unfair. I seriously believe it should remain that way. If all voices are silenced, how will we ever know what goes on inside those people's minds? Besides, I usually oppose hate speech when it's wide spread and seeks more followers. Red Pillers just seem like a bunch of sad sad men who want to vent their anger and frustration over people realizing that gender is just a bunch of bullcrap and they're just so damn butthurt over it. They're not trying to sprea…
