Same. I can't remember the last time anyone has asked me about my "n-count."

This type of behavior set off alarm bells for me as well.

This guy is totally lacking in empathy. I was shocked to read about how badly he treated you. You are much better off without him. Sexual abuse is extremely difficult to talk about. You opened up and were vulnerable with him -- this took courage and a leap of faith -- and he responds by saying it's not good enough. This situation in which you "lied" is not about your honesty or trust but about his lack of understanding and empathy. Google "gaslighting." He sounds emotionally manipulative, he's a…

Look, this isn't a matter of me misunderstanding you or even of poor word choice, but of the lack of logical consistency. You set up an argument, but then you yourself disagree with the logical conclusion of your own argument. Your derisive comments about women dating younger men are quite flimsy. In your comment, you try to normalize the idea of a man in his late 30s dating a woman 15+ years his junior. You imply that this is normal market forces at work. Your own words (emphasis added): That's because men's SMV (their "prime") is highest in their late 30s. Women's is generally considered around 22-25. This is, quite simply, why women can, do, and often should date older men. Your comments are rife with your own personal opinions which you try to pass off as fact. Yet, ironically, you se…

You made the original claim so you need to provide citation. How ironic that you think you don't need to provide citations put people who contradict you do. It is extremely rare in my social and professional circles to find a 37-39yo man dating a 22-25yo woman. The fact that you would try pass it off as being some kind of norm strains credulity. Citation: my own experience.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
