2	Dating for men is like looking or a job while dating for women is like recruiting for a position I don't think I've explicitly implied anywhere that men have no say in a relationship. Men could apply or not apply to a position like how men could ask or not ask a woman out for a date. 8	Dating for men is like looking or a job while dating for women is like recruiting for a position Imagine you're on the recruiting end, looking for a full-time employee. A bunch of people apply, then only later down the line "opps, i can only work part time 2 days a month, sorry!" I would say the dating equivalent of that example would be if a woman wants a stable relationship while the man ostensibly says he does as well, when in fact, he just wants a fling or a fwb relationship.
