Do you see that they say women are less likely to lie or not? This is a subreddit to discuss disproportionate tendencies after all. If we were just going to say that both sides have the issues, then all discussion here would be pointless. You are correct there needs to statistics used, though.

Can we be serious in these discussions? Either you're a troll or refuse to think. You can argue that there are statistics that show men (and women) have a bias towards catering to women in certain regards (like, this sub frequently discusses the women are wonderful effect and how that effects society), but certainly, men have not catered to women's whims in every regard. If you're trying to imply that men generally heavily follow the tendency of catering to women, which I have my personal doubts…

Well, I know this, but there is a point to be had beyond the fact that both sides have the issue in that if one side has the issue more severely, it can show bias and that one side has it worse. This is my issue with a lot of what she wrote; I assumed she was implying that women have it worse than men in the parts that she discussed. She apparently was not saying that women have it worse in these things she's saying, as stated that she didn't want to discuss these problems relative to both sexes…

Is this supposed to go against what I said? If so, I'm sorry, I can't see how this doesn't prove what I said.

They didn't say that. That's not the problem with their reply. The problem with their reply is that they said that we aren't discussing men's issues in this post because she only posted about women's issues, but this is literally a subreddit dedicated to the discussion of men's and women's dynamics relative to each other. If we were on a subreddit dedicated to therapeutical discussion for women's issues in specific and how to fix them, it'd make sense, but we are not.

I'm silly and usually when i want to raise the issue, i actually want to raise the issue, and not look for all that's wrong in the world and all people who could do something similar. Because i think that would be a way to ignore the topic. It's like you would want to talk about how, i don't know, it's not okay to hit a child, and i would start to say "but don't you see physical violence everywhere, there are wars". Cool, and now we don't talk about child abuse. We're on a subreddit that's not s…

I wish there was more statistical realities referred to on this subreddit. Though, I know there aren't studies or inferences that we can make for everything, so I guess there is some stuff that has to be anecdotal. I know men are generally statistically lower in agreeableness (not literal agreeableness, but the Big Five domain), so I could see there being a certain validity to what you're saying here that I don't cover in the rest of the reply, but that's a loose inference, so it doesn't guarant…

The % would actually be 100% for men if they started doing "all", as you say, so it wouldn't even out. I don't think you know what "all" means.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
