Yes and it’s this way for almost every species

It’s really this simple, women being able to have their own bank account and mortgage, and more opportunities presented to which they aren’t required to rely on men anymore. This is all fairly new in the grand timeline of marriage and dating, the 60s and 80s opened up a lot of these new opportunities. Women I think are finally choosing careers and themselves first, instead the idea of relying on men for marriage and what they need in life after high school and college age. I say they choose them…

Men and women who fall under a narcissist’s spell are victims. More women get involved in abusive relationships than men do. It’s often difficult to discern these yellow flags in a partner when lovebombing is happening and everyone around you tells you how great of a partner they are or seem to be, until they show who they actually are. It’s not as simple as someone just choosing to be with someone who is obviously a low life or bad influence, while that can happen as well.

Have you ever browsed r/narcissisticabuse ? There are lots of cases of people, mainly men, as NPD is more common in men, putting on a facade and there being no blatant signs to which women marry and have children with an abuser

Women also want to avoid the biases of marriage and dating in 4B, but also with choosing not to have children for understandable reasons in today’s climate. Both genders have a lot to lose with dating and marriage, they are risks one should opt in or out of

4B is from Korea in 2019 and the Bs translate from 4 words in Korean all beginning with “b”

Who would say that women don’t like gaming and comics 😭 have you seen Comic-Con? Or gone to the theater to see a marvel movie? It’s equal amounts of men and women. There are also sooo many Twitch partners who are women

Imo the biggest reason American women are less inclined to date Asian and south Asian men is the culture shock. It’s the most different from American culture from personal values, patriarchal family values, and expectations. The beauty standard in itself is also pretty different. Even for Asian and south Asian men who are a few generations in to living in America, these values are still engrained and it makes dating difficult for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/24 02:26 PM

I’ve had a couple of guy friends who have similar mindset as you. From my perspective it sounds like the result of many times of negative reinforcement. I totally understand where your thinking comes from, but I don’t condone it either. Others have recommended self healing and reflecting on fixing your perspective and it’s really the best advice. I know it’s so difficult to get over the negative reinforcement. But it can totally be the mindset projecting onto your friends/women that is the reaso…

Not really how that works. People can find the body count question an unreasonable measure of character, regardless of their own number.

I agree. Also, plenty of women get harassed in modest clothing as well, if men are going to harass they’re going to regardless and the clothes aren’t an excuse for them.

A self sustained woman who is secure in herself needs a specific kind of man who can be equally secure in his masculinity and lift the weight off of her, and set her in her femininity when she is with him. A woman who can have a position of power in her professional and social life can still be wanting to have a man take over when it comes to dating and relationships.

The comments on pearl’s content are cringey also. Her whole persona I believe is either rage bait or due to her being mistreated by one man she dated a couple of years back.

When this question is asked blatantly, it is offensive or brash because the answers to it should naturally come in conversation over the course of the date or getting to know the person. They can also come through context and usually is a pointless question anyways, because you can know what the person does for work or whether they have accomplishments, etc. if someone asks this question, it would give me an impression that they aren’t the type of person I would want to be with anyways. No, love…

Equality as far as respect yes, should be a given. There are nuances in dating due to cultural upbringing, societal and class. While your points may be correct by definition of the word exploitation, it isn’t default opinion by both men and women.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 06:31 PM

Equality exists in mutual respect and consent here. If it is such an issue that a man doesn’t want to pay for a first date, he has the right to convey that as it is not, unfortunately for most, default belief. And unless it’s a blind date, it’s generally not difficult to have a conversation or clues on what type of person you’re going out with and what they are expecting. Many people go out for coffee, split bill, and cost-free first dates. It’s unfortunate to feel like you are being exploited a…

Equality is a given. Nobody is better than anyone else. Blame the dating game. If you have luck finding women who you can split the cheque with be my guest, I choose differently and that is my own consent to. It is harmless to offer to pay for dinner for someone. I do it all the time with my friends. And they do it for me, too. Paying for a woman on the first date doesn’t mean you will be exploited or exclusively be the one paying always lol

I think that’s where we differ in ideology, as I and many believe that the man should step up in certain ways for a woman even if there is no modern reason. Men are always the ones who biologically are inclined to want to find a mate and have a more difficult time, therefore, offering a little more than another man (albeit, paying for a first date) is one way to stand apart. All women vary of course, there are plenty who would agree to a split-cheque coffee date.

Was it about work or about chivalry and respect? Culturally, it varies around the world. While women are able to work in India as well, they are still traditionally “pawned” off to men socially when it comes to marriage and the men still have to prove themselves as worthy to her and her family. Eastern European women also expect men to provide naturally. There; women are able to work as well. Western women also like to be dressed up and wear makeup and accessories which both cost quite a lot of …

I am confused here, if a man is inviting a woman out and is initially the one more interested than she is, why shouldn’t he cover hers as well? It isn’t exploitation for a woman to agree to a date with a man who wanted to invite her out.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 03:31 PM

I don’t believe in chakras, energy fields or the like lol, I believe in evidence and preventative measures and sometimes that can be as simple as understanding a healthy mind can lead to a healthy body. And that everyone’s biology varies slightly based on lifestyle and choices, so what may work diet-wise for someone won’t work for me. It isn’t all black and white, and published studies do have biases. Looking at the viability of the study is important.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 04:09 PM

The reasoning and funding behind studies matters. Chinese medicine and functional medicine roots in finding the overall cause and full-body and health related causes versus western being rooted in finding disease and curbing the disease. Both can have their faults, and both can have their truths. It’s just different “roots”.

Western astrology doesn’t have a lot to back it up. Vedic astrology, however, is practiced and taken seriously and dates back thousands of years. https://vedicastrology.net.au/blog/vedic-articles/jyotish-the-ancient-art-of-vedic-astrology/
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 02:50 PM

Hmm this is a very western point of view. Chinese medicine may be seen as snake oil to westerners and western medicine but it has been practiced for thousands of years and has its own merits where western medicine is faulty.

Makeup is only there to enhance. Like wearing a tailored suit or fitted jeans that enhance the natural features of a person’s body. Most makeup is done for the female gaze anyways, and men’s opinions doesn’t matter for it. More artistic makeup is done for the style, trends and with purpose and there are plenty of beautiful people with flawless skin who choose to wear makeup for the fun colors it provides. To further go into this depending on culture and subculture (like gothic as an example) mak…

Did you not understand anything I wrote? Hormone cycles affect both genders differently. Women have ups and downs depending on their menstrual phases, and to negate this is to be ignorant and unwilling to understand biology. Men do not experience these ups and downs, and their circadian rhythms are generally the same every day.

Men run off of a 24 hour hormonal cycle, which is perfect for them to get up early every morning, fully energized, and take on the day. Women run off of a 28ish day hormonal cycle, which is impractical to have the same rigor and schedule every day of the month, every day of the year. That is biology. Men are physically built to provide and take on the hardships every day. Women are not physically built this same way. This doesn’t mean women can’t choose to learn their ups and downs, and take on …

Almost hit all the buzz words
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 05:08 AM

Fair, I’ve known women over 30 who are bubbly and not either of those ways, and I’ve known women in their early 20’s who experienced bad from men or dated the nice guy who ended up being terrible, and became “jaded” by 23. Age isn’t always congruent with experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 02:44 PM

I wouldn’t say so, there are plenty of average and below average couples out there getting married.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 02:38 PM

Jaded as in she refuses to get over something traumatic that happened to her and move on to be a good partner, or jaded as in knows a lot more about what she doesn’t want, therefore being more direct about it, where as younger women don’t /yet/?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 02:35 PM
1

I understand more now. It sounds like grounds for seeking help in that attachment style for trauma, to be able to manage those triggers in a healthier way. We can’t control how others are going to treat us, but we can control how we react to a situation and our boundaries we choose to put up from the start. Both genders.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 11:38 PM

Exactly. And even though this isn’t their intention: they fail to give autonomy to the woman because of their over-bearing nature. Autonomy for her to be her own person. And he projects his insecurities and anxious attachment behaviors onto her, thus pushing her away. If “your time” is the only thing you can offer, and not direction or a leadership and strength (common healthy, masculine traits) she will compare the niceguy to one of her girl friends.

What if women consistently responded to him with the same behavior, when those same women responded to other men with different behaviors?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 02:29 PM
3

It’s a misunderstanding of behavior on part of both men and women. Plenty of men out there aren’t jerks /or/ r/niceguys. An asshole of a guy only appears like a better choice than a pushover man because the asshole of a guy displays how he can make choices and not be a doormat. Women aren’t usually attracted to pushover men. Luckily though, there are a lot of men out there for women who are neither pushovers or assholes and are direct with their thoughts and intentions, meanwhile being truly res…

This exactly. Classic niceguys don’t know how to regulate their emotions, making them dangerous potentially. You never know what is going to make them burst because they are always /acting/ nice. A lot of times they will do acts of kindness for transactional reasons, and not out of kindness of their true hearts. To expand on this thought too: Women aren’t only dating either nice guys or jerks. There are a lot of good men who are truly respectful to women, emotionally mature, and have their lives…

It sounds like you don’t know how female anatomy works. A person can obtain an std from ONE sexual experience, and a person can never get an std with 100+ partners. It only takes one infected partner to get an std. And I thought people knew by now that the vaginal cavity is a muscle? Do your biceps get loose by using them? No? Then a vagina doesn’t either. Women vary just like men and their penises vary. Pelvic floor muscles can be flexed to regain muscular strength after a woman gives birth - t…

This, but what’s scarier is endocrine disrupters (included in some plastics, such as styrofoam and takeout containers). These are in virtually everything in every household, store and restaurant. Receipt fronts have more bpa in them than water bottles. Teflon pans scratch extremely easily and release hormone disrupting chemicals. Detergents and fragrances are hormone disrupters. Plastics are only the top of the iceberg of it all. Generationally, there is evidence showing declining testosterone a…

Nearly all the food in the United States is processed with seed oils and people prefer convenience over cooking and eating with care. Added sugar is hidden in everything from spaghetti sauce to bread. The real conspiracy is how a person actually loses weight after living abroad in Europe, eating “unhealthy” foods while they gained weight eating “healthy” foods in America.

That chart is poorly done, because if you count all of the days listed, you’ve got a 50+ day period which isn’t how periods work. A usual cycle is 28-32 days. “During menstruation” is 7 days right there yet only gets one check mark. The “unlikely” column covers 14 days total. The “possible” column covers 10-14 additional days, so that’s 28 days total where it is either unlikely or somewhat possible. The remaining days which are listed “possible” can overlap because some women’s cycles are shorte…

Exactly, arguably there are more people who have casual sex than a small minority. It does not mean that there is anything neurologically wrong with them, or that all of them had experienced childhood trauma or broken parenting. The logistics behind people choosing to have casual sex are different than people being coerced into believing casual sex will fix their problems. And those two are in a whole different category than the neuroscience behind mollesters.

It goes both ways though. Secure individuals, whether man or woman, shouldn’t just drop their plan for someone. Exceptions of course, but within reason. I respect someone much more when they keep to their current plan and tell me they can meet a different time.

The alpha male and red pill podcasts on YouTube present numerous logical fallacies. What gets me the most however, is when people will start the argument with “you may not like to hear this truth, but…” or: “you’re mad because they’re speaking the truth” Who’s truth? Because those arguments don’t apply to me or my experiences.

So you spend couple of weeks or a month to get to know her. At that point you are just an acquaintance not a friend. Acquaintance is good. You shouldn’t wait too long before she gives up on reading your signal that you’re into her, because then it gives her too much time to think “he’s just looking for friendship”. Be upfront, sooner rather than later. I thought girls didn't know the difference between an acquaintance and a friend. I don’t really understand this? I don't want to waste time getti…

Where I’ve personally experienced the best luck, was when the man was kind, shown attention, (bare minimum expectation) then promptly asked her out within a week to a month. Upfront, no games, no guessing, no overthinking. Just a respectful man asking a woman out. You get to know her while dating. If she respectfully declines the date, you try again with someone new.

Women don’t just complain about losing guy friends. Women justifiably get upset that a guy she was friends with, was only choosing to be friends in hopes that she could eventually change her mind and date him.
