| 3 | Emma Sulkowicz reenacts "rape" as "performance art"Huh. I deserve a refund from high school art class. In all seriousness though, I do agree there was failure. But this is a time when Fifty Shades of Grey is considered literature. | /r/MensRights | 07/06/15 04:47 PM |
| 1 | Emma Sulkowicz reenacts "rape" as "performance art"Actually, it's referencing a Dada piece, the treachery of images. Surrealism is not "non art," but traditionally very vivid depictions of dream like images, for example the melting clocks picture (the persistence of memory) by Salvador Dali. But even Dada had a purpose: WWI, according to the artists, had shown that civilization was a failure. By breaking down the definition of what was art, they subverted the very notion of art itself. Ie, if everything's art, then nothing is. It was a deliberat… | /r/MensRights | 07/06/15 04:30 PM |

| 1 | This was posted in /r/funny. It's getting plenty of upvotes but a few comments that support the MRM.With painkillers, localized anesthetic, and my faith, I'm willing to say I would. | /r/MensRights | 21/04/15 05:26 AM |
| -3 | This was posted in /r/funny. It's getting plenty of upvotes but a few comments that support the MRM.I guess it made more sense in my head, but that we should pick our fights more strategically. I don't think this is one we'll win; if anything, the fact that we protest something that ultimately hasn't affected us (the "it feels better with a foreskin" bit is a myth: the penis adapts to become more sensitive) makes us look petty. Things like child support, alimony, and mental health are much more pertinent issues that don't wind up on /r/funny. Not saying we should be ashamed, but the advantage … | /r/MensRights | 21/04/15 05:24 AM |
| -7 | This was posted in /r/funny. It's getting plenty of upvotes but a few comments that support the MRM.Alright, I'm religious. I was circumcised at birth, or thereabouts. Granted, yes it was genital mutilation and i could not consent, but I think given proper treatment I would have done it anyway once I was old enough to make the decision. I don't hold it against my parents, since they thought it was the right thing to do, and I haven't had any adverse effects (except a bit right after, since it did get botched pretty bad, but that's not common, as I understand it). I'll get downvoted, but someon… | /r/MensRights | 21/04/15 04:21 AM |
| 7 | CEO of Reddit: Ellen Pao says she "weeds out" candidates who don’t embrace her priority of building a gender-balanced and multiracial team. She has also has removed salary negotiations from the hiring process because studies show "women don’t fare as well as men."I wonder how long this sub will get to live before it's deemed "too oppressive" and gets shut down. | /r/MensRights | 06/04/15 04:08 PM |
| 0 | 1,500 Men Lock Arms Protecting Their Place of Worship Against 7,000 Feminists Spitting, Spray Painting, and Sexually Assaulting Them. [x-post /r/videos]They feel constrained, because to them there's no alternative. There is no "Egalitarianism" movement. There's Feminism and MRM, which both use gender specific language and paint pictures of perpetual victimhood. Honestly, I can't fault them at this point, because in their shoes I'd probably do the same (hell, by being here, I'm doing the male equivalent.) They also have fairly ambiguous stances when it comes to the direction of Feminism, as they want to take part in the good but distance themsel… | /r/MensRights | 14/02/15 12:48 AM |
| 2 | 1,500 Men Lock Arms Protecting Their Place of Worship Against 7,000 Feminists Spitting, Spray Painting, and Sexually Assaulting Them. [x-post /r/videos]I get that, but they can't call themselves that. The term has been misconstrued by their overlords to be a patriarchal term, as adopting it expressly rejects feminism and it's narrative of perpetual victimhood. Plus then they lose the backing of "Feminism" as a means to (pretend) to achieve their own ideals. | /r/MensRights | 13/02/15 11:51 PM |
| 1 | 1,500 Men Lock Arms Protecting Their Place of Worship Against 7,000 Feminists Spitting, Spray Painting, and Sexually Assaulting Them. [x-post /r/videos]I was raised in a Pentacostal household. We were told that denying rights to homosexuals was an act of love, as if we let them marry, they'll think their behavior is okay. Then they won't find Jesus an tey will go to hell. Acts of actual violence were considered (formally) as not true Christian behavior, but in private many of the congregation thought that Beaton up a gay kid was corrective behavior, like spanking a child. In the end, they all thought they loved gay people, but as a queer person… | /r/MensRights | 13/02/15 11:39 PM |

[x-post /r/videos]Well, this is a sacred place, and these men are ere to defend their faith. The breasts are an attempt to desecrate the area and to upset the men's spirituality. The men probably want to focus on their relationship with God, not on angry tits. | /r/MensRights | 13/02/15 11:31 PM |
| 6 | 1,500 Men Lock Arms Protecting Their Place of Worship Against 7,000 Feminists Spitting, Spray Painting, and Sexually Assaulting Them. [x-post /r/videos]There are feminists who are not terrorists. I have a feminist girlfriend, and she and I have heated debates all day about the role of feminism in modern society. At the end of the day, we both agree that radfems and TERFs are pretty shitty people, and White Knights are a sad lot, but moderate feminists (the majority of them, as it turns out. I get around in their circles) are egalitarians who want to ride the cultural monstrosity that is Third Wave Feminism to actuality their desire for real equ… | /r/MensRights | 13/02/15 11:29 PM |
