This is why these Universities have to be made to pay a large amount . I am sure someone higher up in the administration isn't a clueless idiot and will make sure this sort of behavior stops so they don't take the financial hit in the future.

Doesn't matter what I believe or what you believe. It matters what the law says and in my state I can use lethal force in defense against aggravated assault. Being a democracy the people in my state have decided this is acceptable. I'm a law abiding tax paying citizen. Why should some criminal be allowed to assault me and I not be allowed to defend myself? But thanks for calling me a sociopath....

I would be shocked if he wins any lawsuit over this. Contract is a contract, she would have to agree to release the embryos to him. At the same time if she wanted them he would then need to agree. I just don't see what is so complicated about this one. It seems like a simple case of contract law to me.

Blood work is done when a child is born. Couldn't an additional test be performed at this time? I would think it would depend on how the hospital codes it. Maybe through legislation there could be a series of standard tests that are now required to be run which in reality were the old lab work plus the dna test. This could then be billed as "at birth blood tests". The father could then pay for his own test if desired.

a little stupid that he didn't just drive away - joint property or not dude still has to get a new car- seems like there is more to the story - anyone have more info? the value of the car would probably be sorted out when assets are divided anyway - if the other car is also in both names just drive it.
