i did that! i made a version for myself to track it in real time....and at some point, if my text ratio is off, i would get a notification from a bot... It took me sometimes to set up the bot, and after texting with a friend for couple rounds, i realize that my ratio was way off and the bot kept trying to notify me for ratio breach... i ended up killing the bot

But I didnt draw any conclusion on whether it is JUST for my ex to break up with me for texting too much based on the data. The project simply proves "i text more than he does" with mounting amount of evidence and this itself is not am emotional statement. I didnt even use the data to draw conclusion such as "he is not into me" or other ones that other people are drawing, It is good to know those data, it is a fact that i texted more than he does, what kind of emotional conclusion that one shoul…

i mean regardless of whether this is a relationship issue, if somebody said something that you didnt think is right about you, what would you do ? I would rather prove that someone is wrong about me than ignoring him

yeah. i totally agree. i see so mnay people get to the conclusion easily that he is just not that INTO me because i initiated all of them... but I FEEL that the quality of his responds are not bad. of course i know if someone just replies for the sake of reply, if i texted a long sentence and the person just replies with "huh. interesting", of course i know that he doesnt want to be engaged in the conversations....but quantify the quality of text is no small feat though. but a lot can be done th…

FYI, i spend a couple hours writing up 70% of the code, and then spend the rest of the few months debugging, make it robust, set up a secure web and database in order to let people try it and then spend hours clenaing up the code so that other people can folk it on git. along the way, another friend helps me with all the technical set up.. so i am wayyyyyy "clingy" than you could have possibly imagine

I've definetely very careful in claiming this as a tool to predict whether someone is into you or not. for practical reason such as many factors play a role in determinng text pattern, age, how often they see each other etc etc... But most importantly, it is passive to predict whether someone is into you or not. If the text shows that he is, you will be hapy, if the text shows that he isnt, then you will be sad.... but i would like to be in a place where I can control my own happiness, rather th…
