Hmm, here's the thing, I mostly do cold approach in clubs, I have hooked up with girls I met through friends and I have no problem with casually chatting to them then making a move. But the issue here is in a club situation, making a cold approach is very difficult indirectly, even if I use a situational opener it is very apparent that I am trying to chat the girl up, or with a guy I feel like it's obvious I'm trying to get into his group or something. Hitting on girls who see themselves as princesses only makes their superiority complexes worse, and of course I understand the priorities thing, but the only girls I am interested in are the ones which are likely to be shitty people, it feels like a catch 22. I guess both of these questions can be merged into one: How do I hit on/check out/get to know people without giving them value - I am talking openers, which are best for showing indifference yet friendliness?

I realised this the other day about alcohol, I think some people really gain less than they think from drinking. Obviously I started off with some AA, but once you get over it you are just as effective at approaching and even better at conversation.
