Tangent thought here, I would love a world where women didn't have to shave their legs. Armpits on the other hand... how do men deal with all that hair! Hah! It's so uncomfortable to me, plus... deodorant mushed in hair...

Honest question here, is it really the mans job to do this? In my house, I'm the one that preps these sort of things. My husband/kiddo look to me for this and I don't mind. First aid kit, flashlight/batteries/candles/lighter, extra preserved food and water, blankets, utility knife all in an easily accessible place (however, I don't have this in the car, so great idea! Going to get on that.)

Yes, and that's why we (peasents.. whatever) are at odds with one another. Propagated race wars, generational hate... hell, even red vs blue (con/lib). Divide and conquer. If we are too drawn into squabbles, then we aren't focused on them (kings). Work and entertainment only consume so much of a person. There is passion to account for as well. This is where they pit us against eachother, then sit back and watch while we, "get out those pesky trouble making urges."

My wedding was a small dinner in my house, my parents and grandmother came over and helped me make the appetizers, I made the main course. His parents were there as well, his father officiated. Very small. No honeymoon, just papers being signed with the people most important to us. Probably not what you were looking for, OP. But I thought I'd add my story too :)

Mine is a wordsmith. To some, he is pretentious, but I know how giddy he feels when he gets to use an obscure word in the perfect context. :) He is always looking up some words etymology on his phone. Also, my vocabulary has gotten sooo much better since we've been together. A definite plus!

That's because women in their 40s don't want you to know they're in their 40s ;)

One perk of having a wife that a live-in gf (hopefully!!) won't give is children. That's an incentive for commitment right there.

Those are good ideas! I was thinking just the other day on how I could possibly fashion a baby dead lift haha! (Now that mine is 30lbs, that's ntb for my weak butt.)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
