I have self-esteem issues because of the way I look. Whenever I put effort into the way I look, I'd leave the house extremely happy with my confidence over the roof but it slowly dies down throughout the day when people around me dismiss my existence or when someone I know makes a small comment about my appearance. I end up coming back insecure. It's different in your case; you've always had the looks but lacked the confidence, but for me it seems to be both.

I live far from the US/Canada, I was born and raised in Dubai.

It's not exactly about how much I weigh but it's the way my body looks and how it's shaped. Where I live, most women have naturally curvaceous or fit and curvy bodies. A woman at 120 pounds with hips and C cups will be considered more attractive than a 95 pound girl with a narrow body-type. I always have people commenting on how I'm thin and I got made fun of for it a lot (both by men and women) until I decided to join the gym but I'm still on that thinner side.

I have never taken a birth control pill and I don't believe I ever will. I do tone my body at the gym and I am fit but how can I show that off without having to wear skimpy clothes or a bikini? It's easier to accentuate bigger breasts and wider hips with modest yet fitted clothes but almost impossible to show off a toned skinny body without having to wear revealing outfits.

I'm in my late teens but I (unfortunately) look younger but since I'd be considered taller than average here my height makes up for it. Since I live in a slightly conservative country, I only wear fitted jeans paired with a turtleneck or sweater and high-heels or platform shoes. No make up on either (not to the grocery store at least).

I gain weight in my glutes and thighs. I am thinner than average but not extremely so, I'm lightweight because I have small bones and fast metabolism but I do go to the gym to gain muscle and I eat full meals as well.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
