Great reminder, there are too many people who use being an introvert as an excuse to not approach or be sociable. As with the majority of excuses, I feel like there's truth to it, but only the smallest bit. For those who feel like this is an issue for them, I'd recommend picking up Models, by Mark Manson. His demographics chapter will probably offer some great insight for those who really don't enjoy the typical bars and clubs.

I'm going to have to agree with a lot of the comments here, and suggest that you focus more on having fun social outings than filling out a mental checklist of successes in pickup. If you went out and talked to new people, and had fun with it, you are probably improving more than if you "opened 5 HB7s with the familiarity opener". As everyone else is saying, welcome! Authenticity to your kino will come from experience, and it will come quickly too. Personally, I've noticed that "friendly" or otherwise non-intimate kino has made a huge difference in my daily life, establishing comfort in my social circles on both guys and girls (for clarification, non-intimate kino to me is mostly arm and shoulder touches). Great job on being aware of how you can improve too, one of the most important things about progressing here.
