People (rightly) mocked the Trump White House team for using the phrase 'alternative facts'. But when Oprah lauds women for 'telling their truths' nobody bats an eyelid. Not 'The Truth', not 'Their Experiences', but 'Their Truths'.

Couple more facts to add to your red pill story: 1. He didn't just 'marries hot looking wife has kids' - she already had a daughter from a previous relationship. He adopted the daughter when they married. Then the couple had twins. 2. He used to lift. Then got an injury (lifting weights) and was diagnosed with spinal arthritis.

No, its from the wisdomination blog and the poster above you is the author. He deserves the credit. The OP who copy-and-pasted wisdomination's article has been saying 'thanks' to all the posters here who complimented the article, but its not his work. He has had ample opportunity to credit the source but has chosen not to.

Its a good article and well worth copy-and-pasting here, but really you should attribute the source. Unless you were the original author two years ago? Will you be re-publishing Part 2 here too?

And he's devastated, no doubt because he realised that she was just using him for ressources. << If he's that beta its more likely he is thinking that 'if only I did more for her she wouldn't have left'. I hope for his sake I am wrong.

Worth watching for many reasons but I was really impressed with his reading of body language, for instance [spoiler alert] the moment the suicidal German kid changed his breathing. Loved the way he shut down the daughter in the mother/daughter intervention, when she started touching her hair to flirt with him.

I get what you mean in terms of 'acta, non verba' but I took his sentence to refer to using clear, open communication with no covert contracts, no nice-guy sugar coating and no fear of his wife's reaction. The sort of communication a captain needs to provide to a first mate. I'm thinking mainly of logistics and day-to-day interaction though, not discussions about feelz or (shudder) about the recent changes.

Someone over on marriedrepill once described shit tests as being like a sonar ping. In a marriage or LTR, the woman is constantly sending out pings to check where the man is (in SMV rank). If he passes the test he's in the same place as last time, and the next ping will come at a regular interval. But if he either aces the test, or fails, then he is not where he was and this aberration needs investigating. So the pings come faster and more intense, to test whether an increase or decrease in SMV …

Five seagulls sitting on a harbour wall. One decides to fly away. How many are left? Five. Because deciding to do something, and actually doing something, are very different things. (This little gem is not mine, I read it somewhere - probably in TRP - and it resonated with me. Repeating it here in hopes it may resonate with some of you too.)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
