So you're complaining about women not liking certain people and having preferences. Pretty sure that's a universal phenomenon among humans in general.

I'm not the least bit surprised that men want sex, or any human being for that matter. It's men's sheer audacity.

If you're so far removed from the day-to-day of what's going on with your kids and your household since you think that's the wife's job, then how are you going to leas them and make decisions for them? Anyone that has worked for a boss that has no idea what the fuck you do at your job would understand how well this plays out.

I don't have a reaction about this because it's something I don't really think about hardly at all. If a male friend or female friend finds someone they get along with and love, I'm happy for them because they're a friend. But as a society, not so much. I, as a woman, don't want to be another point on a man's white picket fence life goal checklist. Purpose can be found outside a nuclear family (and ironically this is a lot more attractive to potential partners.) Whatever purpose that is men need…

What does this have to do with 40 year old men dating 20 year old women? If you're that curious about basic zoology, you can easily research it instead of asking me to waste my time to do it for you.

In the past, humans commonly died before 50. But testosterone decreasing sharply after 50 has been as much a biological fact 100 years ago as it is today. This isn't a new trend. you never hear about an animal being old and less active compared to younger peers Any pet owner would tell you this is false. And for wild animals, older animals are amongst the first to die in harsh weather conditions, disease, or is targeted first by predators because they move slower and have less endurance to fight…

It's almost like human sexuality varies widely between individuals or something. Horny middle aged and even elderly women exist, too. But since you're using generalities to argue your ridiculous point about what's "biologically optimal", so am I. "Most men begin experiencing testosterone decline around age 40, though it can vary considerably based on individual factors. By the age of 50-55, many men observe more noticeable symptoms." "The most frequently reported physical symptoms include decrea…

Not really. The difference in desire is a lot closer than you think. When women start getting to perimenopause, testosterone has already begun decreasing in their male partners. When menopause hits, typically in a woman's 50's, the man's testosterone also begins to drop more dramatically. There's nothing sexually optimal for a 20 year old woman to be with a middle aged man who's already on the decline when she meets him.

These people were outliers when they were younger, too. Plus it's their jobs to be fit. They practically live either in the gym or sports field. They are well above men that go to the gym 5 days per week after work.

Sorry but as much as some middle aged men line to deny it, a 40 year old man cannot keep up with a 20 year old woman like another 20 year old man can. Sperm quality decreases after 30-35 for men. Testosterone decreases as well. This isn't even considering the fact that most 20 year old women aren't interested in men double her age (Unless he's a celebrity. Maybe.)

No. I'm saying that getting married to a woman that needs you for resources instead of wanting you for companionship is likely not going to be a happy wife.

Women that aren't interested in dating men aren't going to make for happier wives if they have to rely on someone they're not compatible with for resources.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 02:43 PM

Any man that's getting married for regular sex is a fool. There's plenty of spouses in r/deadbedrooms that haven't had sex in months or years. And it's a lot more difficult to divorce your spouse than break up with a bf/gf.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 01:48 PM

Yeah the alternative is to not get married.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 12:40 PM

Voting =/= your dating life, and women's bodies aren't charities. Do you think women that vote for universal healthcare and social programs owe sex to homeless people? I don't blame any woman that wants a family for turning down a man that can't hold down a job.

When I dated men, I was more interested in whether or not I liked being in his company and how well we got along. When me and my then boyfriend were talking about engagement and marriage, I was making sure we were heading the same direction in life and we had the same (or at least compatible) values. I obviously don't consider my husband average, but he is a regular middle class guy. So I don't what you mean by average or lame men. I guess if you have an average or lame character that's not attr…

That's not how sexual consent works, my guy. She could revoke consent in the middle of sex and he'd need to stop. The alternative is he keeps going and is now a rapist.

Entitlement means you think you deserve MORE than you put in. That's exactly what I explained, unless you think a man is owed sex or a relationship because he paid for someone's meal.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 03:26 AM

It's a natural result of when people have access to more advanced healthcare and living longer. A population is not meant to infinitely grow. It's not sustainable. Aside from post WWII and back when the child death rate was high but people needed children to help work in agricultural societies, the human population grew very little or stayed level. So no, I don't see the need to change something that's in the process of returning to normal. Third world countries where women have less freedom sti…

There are men with whom women will sleep on a first date, and then there are men who women consider a red flag for expecting a peck on the cheek after a third. Wanting a kiss isn't a red flag. Not accepting a "no" is. That shouldn't be an absurd concept. There are men who are hitting double digit body counts like its nothing, and there are virgins who get accused of feeling entitled to women bodies for wanting to try it out once. Wanting something isn't entitlement. Thinking that you're owed it …

I don't believe for a second that anyone that follows that philosophy is interested in a genuine relationship. It's transactional, and about taking as much agency away from the woman as possible so she doesn't leave you because if she breathes she's a thot apparently. Marrying/entering a relationship with someone you think so little of just sounds like an easily avoidable headache for everyone involved.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/26 12:23 PM

So you go on a first date, let's say it's a blind date, and even though nothing alarming really happens and the conversation might even be pleasant, you don't feel any chemistry and you're not really attracted to the person physically. None of those things are bad, but not having chemistry is a reasonable disqualifying factor.

I'm sorry but your grievance with capitalism is not the same thing as being pregnant no matter how much you want them to be. Most humans, males and females, need to work, paid or unpaid labor, for survival. Only females can get pregnant.

No they're not the same premise. One is a social obligation and the other is a biological reality. If you want to sit around all day and be unemployed, nothing is stopping you biologically and there are many people that do just that. If you want a baby, someone is going to have to use their body to carry it for 9 months for you.

Sounds more like dissimilar interests and you blaming the woman for it. If your interests don't align, it is what it is. It doesn't make the woman vapid or unintelligent.

Would you be OK with the idea that in exchange for getting an abortion to preserve your bodily autonomy that you are now obligated to financially provide for a randomly selected orphan for the next 18 years? Financial provision is not the same burden as being a vessel for a living and growing baby. You're proposing a social standard like it somehow addresses a biological reality for women. I would be okay with the idea of a man having a say in whether or not he has sex with a woman, though it is…

Someone with basic intelligence also knows which questions are subjective and which questions are objective. Whatever you consider a deep topic for conversation is not the same as 1+1=2, so what's the point in making people guess what you actually mean?

Considering women are the ones that are going through the physical and psychological burdens of bearing a child in their bodies, I think they're allowed to think of themselves. Sorry but there are some biological realities you can't philosophize around.

inane conversations with no real substance and have no interest in real-world issues or anything deep. Like what? Are you trying to have debates on the apartheid of South Africa on the first date? if you wanna talk to women, it's best not to talk about anything deep. Yeah most women don't want to talk about their fears and secrets with strangers. I bet most men don't either.

Taking care of your partner =/= mothering. Mothering is treating your partner like a child. Making doctor's appointments for them, cooking all their meals, picking their dirty clothes off the floor, reminding them to do chores that very obviously need to be done, doing ALL the cleaning up after them, etc... I think most men would get fed up pretty quickly if they had to mother their female partners, too.

Me neither, but I've worked with people like this before. They're insufferable and it was a wonder that they had remained employed for as long as they did.

Is it also not unfair to the women to give in to sleeping with a man if she's not comfortable with it? Plenty of people don't sleep with anyone unless they're in a committed relationship or married. And that's valid. It's a boundary set up to protect themselves, not because they're trying to punish their current partner. If the guy doesn't like waiting then he doesn't have to stick around.

The warning is if you see the trash is full, you take it out. Women use the same warning system. As for your other question, the general courtesy is that you clean up after yourself and you participate in household upkeep like any adult living in a house should. If something needs to urgently get done and a spouse asks for help, it's expected that the other person get to it as soon as possible because assistance is necessary at that time. I mean, it's a pretty universal protocol that can apply t…

You don't think the waiting six months rule stemmed from the lesson she learned from sleeping with men too quickly leads to bad outcomes? People make mistakes and change their behaviors accordingly all the time.

Unless he's deep in something more urgent, I expect it to be done now because I'm in the middle of something and I'm not able to do it myself. I don't ask every time it needs to be done because the expectation is whoever sees the trash is full should take it out.

In an aesthetic sense, he's not bad looking but he has the disposition of a damp washcloth. Most women aren't going to be interested if you don't have a personality, even if they're only looking for something casual.

So you could've just said that instead of writing a paragraph complaining about women having the audacity to be attracted to whoever they're attracted to. And dating is understandably frustrating when that person you're attracted to turns out to be incompatible or just ghosts you. Besides, lowering your standards doesn't result in relationships where there are no complaints. It just gives you more to complain about.

You can genuinely be attracted to someone enough to want to date them and then find out that you're not compatible for a long-term relationship.

Do women owe dates or relationships with men they're not attracted to? Is that the end game here?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 12:39 PM

Preferences often don't align with the type of person we end up falling in love with.

Ok, so he doesn't have a wife and children. But I bet he has other family, like parents, siblings, aunts/uncles, and friends that would also miss him. Losing a child torments a parent in way that other deaths don't. While you name very unlikely scenarios, men's expendability is the logic used to force them to sign up for the draft (in the US), which is the more likely scenario of men being used as pawns.
