Because this isn't a safe space and we should allow dissenting opinion to be reacted with. If we're brigaded then ban the brigaders. If it's costantly from the same sub, then complain to the admins. I think that the downvote button is useful (also I wouldn't consider the_donald to be a good role model for how to run a sub)

I didnt think this sub was so... intersectional :P But yeah I completely agree, someone else's civil rights movement is our civil rights movement, because we didn't choose to be born the way we are, and I want to live in a society where no matter how you're born you still have the same opportunity

How can you tell? It's hard to tell from this view, and either way he's white and this is a civil rights protest, it happened because police call black men "boys", so it doesn't affect him so why would he carry that sign? Like, I get it that civil rights are good for everyone, so helping blacks indirectly helps men, but I don't really consider this sub that intersectional.

That's only the case if the school is providing them. A lot of times these organizations are founded and run by students, you need to check with the school.

Well, several of those accused of rape and acquitted have used title IX successfully against the school for mistreating them, so it's definitely something that men can use. Just don't abuse the system.

It's funny how both yuo and me are getting downvoted on this thread, but I have actually filed a formal complaint for discrimination after having my public university censor me for dissenting feminism. I have had to resort to FIRE and wait for ages to get anything done, and little has been done in the end. If they do, then you have an actual civil right's case. Most courts will not judge in your favor unless you are a victim of a discriminatory action. The lack of a men's group on campus may not necessarily be the smoking gun that proves discrimination. Like I said, it could be that only women want a group. If the women's center is created and staffed by the school, then it has to include men as well, so they're most often called that, and called "gender and culture center" or something like at my school. I'm not threatened by it at all. I'm just saying that you'll get a massive pie in your face if you threaten the school with a lawsuit, so they give you a men's center, and it's never used or even staffed. I'm just saying it has a better chance of succeeding if OP tried to volunteer his time and effort into starting one rather than suing the school for not having one. It's like gender studies students suing the school for not enough women in STEM when they themselves never wanted to go into STEM

First, I'd suggest you try to make the organizations you feel are lacking. If there's a women's center, and you feel like you need a men's one, petition the school to designate one for you, and volunteer to staff it. If they refuse, then you might have a case. Otherwise, maybe men don't feel like they need one?

This is my first time in this subreddit (it was x-posted elsewhere) and I really don't understand you guys. From what MGTOWs say and what your sidebar says, you guys are just men who think that the cons of a relationship with women outweighs the pros and you want to avoid them as much as possible.
