Good for you. This is YOUR life. No one else’s. Do u man.

Big decision. Take some time for yourself and let her know what you are going through to help her understand what you are feeling. Marriage is a sham tbh, if you love that person enough, some piece of paper shouldn’t keep you obligated to a life with them. Good luck

Get her help. And take care of yourself and child. Better if mom is in better mental place for everyone. Just cuz u two don’t work, doesn’t mean your relationship to your shared child has to not work. Good luck man. One day at a time

She won’t get them. Not full custody. And besides u don’t want your kids to not have a mom. Stay cool headed and recognize the pattern. They are your children, no way you are losing custody.

Just don’t give in to her. Stand your ground. Trust your guts not your nuts. Stay busy with a hobby or kids.

Completely normal. Don’t rush into anything or anyone. This sub helps realize many more going through similar things. It a new road ahead of you. Make it what you want now

You will be fine. Better at this age then at 37. Focus on you and your kids when I have them. You have just received a second chance at life my friend.

There’s plenty of help now for “gear maintenance” bro. I was in same boat. Do what makes you happy. Be selfish. It’s your turn

It is weird getting back into it, but it gets better. Focus on You. Start a new hobby you always wanted to do but couldn’t due to your past relationship situation. Live the life you always wanted to. She did you a favor. Second chance at life. I’m waaay happier now than when I was married to a similar type of woman

Take care of you. Don’t be there for her. No point now. Minimal if any contact to her. Exercise, get out and walk in places that you wanted to but never did with her. You have a new start at life. A do over. A mulligan. What every call it. The point is that now you have a chance to do what YOU have always wanted but couldn’t because of her. It’s a second life you have been handed. Whatever you do, you will be happier since she is no longer around. Take your time with the next one. DO NOT RUSH IN…

Nope. You weren’t wrong to look at her stuff. If you as a husband have suspicions of your partner cheating, green light. Let her go. Tough to do but you will never be able to trust her. Leopards don’t change their spots and tigers will always have stripes. Can’t change her and at this point why would you want to. Stay strong bro!!

Exes are exes for a reason. Especially When it’s a divorce, Left for a reason. Keep that reason in your mind.

Money strains all relationships. Maybe you two need some time to focus on each other. You are not describing any reason that would trigger a divorce other than things are tough. I went through the same thing. Now divorced. Can’t change the past but only learn from it. Grad school is tough while raising two kids. Really think about this Good luck bro.

On my wedding day, my ex FIL told my mom “ let’s see how long they last”. It was doomed from the beginning. 2.5 years later I’m pushing for a divorce. Guess he knew his daughter better since I was husband number 3. Yup 3. She was married 3 times in a span of 10 years. Thank god she is someone else’s problem now.

What’s done is done man. Print it out. Read it. Then burn it. Can’t change what you have zero control over so why bother dwelling in it. Future self will thank you. Trust me.

I practically raised my ex’s daughter. She knows me as dad. I consider her my daughter but the bitter bitch of a mom still won’t let me see my daughter. I was the only constant positive person in my daughters life and her mom stop refuses to allow me to see a daughter I raised because she’s not my “daughter”. I hope that bitchs tire is flat when she tries to go home from work today when it’s raining. Be careful with whom you get with men. These girls be on another level with pettiness

My ex jumped on a new guy thinking it would make me jealous. Nope. Not a crumb of jealousy. Just went to show how much of a whore she was. We were not even divorced 100% and dude living with her. Someone else’s problem now. Good luck new guy. That dog don’t do new tricks and is always a bitch. He will soon realize what I ran away from. I was ex husband #3.

Hear her out. Let her speak. Then you speak. Let her know how u feel. If she doesn’t see what she’s doing, she doesn’t deserve you and is never going to change. My ex was claiming to change, seek counseling, blah blah blah and in the end it was just to win me back. I didn’t fall for it. She still the same cold narcissist bitch I left. One thing I learned during my divorce is to always always follow your instinct and gut feeling. If your honest with yourself, you can’t be wrong. Love yourself bro…
