I agree with this. I think OP would take that line back if given the opportunity. I do think his overall message is one that leans more towards stoicism than cocaine and hookers as the goal of life. With that said, the post lacks detail and pragmatism and stays hooked predominantly on ideals. I wish OP would air out his definition of fun. Ehhh, it depends how far you want to take it. Do baby boys like blue over pink? Or is it all social conditioning? IMO its safe to say that there is a tendency, and in this culture, a large tendency, for men to favor Machiavellian traits.

Valid point. Nevertheless, there is no doubt this culture is extreme towards power and status. Not to say that hasn't been the case in the past, just media has blown it up further. Thus we should be careful when studying Machiavellian principles, because our base ideology is already rooted deep there.

You seem to miss my point entirely, which I'm surprised, considering you've been in the Vipassana circuit. Bodily incarnation is illusion. Maybe women's bodies are hardwired a certain way, and most women then attach to that hardwiring. But to say that women cannot be free from suffering? I'd check that.
