Or he knows it because he’s already asked his mother for his time of birth because so many other women have asked him that same question

Awareness is step one. The fact that you are beginning to notice it and you are thinking about it is huge. Now take that and sit with it and listen to what your gut feelings are trying to tell you. We can stop promoting artists who put out this type of music and make big change

The Year One series kept me sooo engaged all the way through. Don’t know if it meets all FDS standards, but the main character is a woman who literally saves the world. It’s futuristic/post apocalypse fiction. Edit: actually now that I really think about it, this series is probably very FDS friendly. Read it and lmk what you think

I think general rule of thumb is you should only be texting to make plans at this point. Adults don’t have full blown conversations over text every single day. If you want to have a conversation, FaceTime or call.

There was a poll recently but I wouldn’t offer him an validity in his statement. I doubt he’s a Reddit admin because I really don’t think that demographic is correct.

First inaccuracy is the age demographic. A recent poll illustrated that most of the followers here are 20’s if I’m not mistaken???

Yes, sperm can change the pH and smell of the vagina. Someone please tell my LVM ex that it was his fault my perfectly healthy vagina went from smelling normal to fishy because of HIS revolting excretions.

I don’t have a code on my phone but I know my husbands codes for laptop and phone. I don’t snoop on him but I wouldn’t like it if he kept that info from me. Suspicious

I could be wrong, but I think what a lot of married couples do is pay their rent/mortgage from a joint account. Im at least comfortable with what we are both contributing and don’t feel like I’m being taken for a ride.

Well, the way I see it is both of our names are on the lease for legal reasons we live in a refurbished mill apartment so we both have to have parking passes and both names must be on the lease. It only makes sense to me that since this will also contribute to my good credit that I pay my portion of the rent. Expenses are split proportionately, except utilities which he pays. I’m able to contribute my portion of expenses and still add a considerable amount to my personal savings account. We are …

I’ve recently married and we are also childless and make about the same. here is what my husband and I do: We kept our separate bank accounts but now have a joint account which we both contribute to. The amount we contribute is proportionate to what we each make so he will be making more money soon with his new job- he contributes more to the joint account. We live in an apartment right now so we split rent but he pays utilities. Groceries are usually split and when we go out on dates, he pays. …

My partner and I took this test for fun the other day! I knew his number one was physical touch because he’s constantly trying to be affectionate with me even when I’m busy doing things around the house. But it was a very close tie between physical touch, acts of service and quality time for him. When I asked him what he thought of the quiz, his response was that it seemed silly to pick between two things in each question which should always be present in a relationship. I agreed with him. Still…

Red flag. Only guy I ever dated over 30 was LVM who had a well paying job so I was confused as to why he needed a roommate. Then found out about his gambling addiction. Buh bye

It’s great. You won’t have to work a job out of necessity. this means you can pick a job or career path that truly speaks to your heart and do that- if you haven’t done so already. I wouldn’t ever dump my job completely though, I would feel trapped relying on him completely. It does give you the opportunity to invest more in your education/ job experience though if he’s able to be a sole provider, you have more freedom to dedicate your life to what you truly love.

We worked together! Gradually our professional relationship evolved. I was hesitant because I don’t like mixing business with personal but work culture at my job is great. We started going out with groups of coworkers and always ended up chatting together for most of the evening. At every single one of these events, he would order me an Uber back to my car, even taking it with me to make sure I got there safely. Always opened doors, walked on the street side of the sidewalk. I found out more abo…

I recommend using hinge. For my pics, I always try to use the most recent ones. Usually one selfie, one full body shot, a pic of me and my dog, a pic of me doing something I love and a candid. That’s my check list. I stay away from posting any group photos or pics in sunglasses (because I hate that on a guys profile.) you don’t need a bio on hinge, they provide you with prompts to answer. I keep my answers short and sweet and at least one answer is humorous. That’s my strategy. I very rarely wil…

OP,I’m with you on the coffee date thing. I definitely prefer to have a short and casual first encounter. But after that, I would expect a dinner date to be next. Am I wrong for wanting a brief first encounter? Not for his convenience, but for my own lol

Honestly eating well is a huge part of it but I’m still struggling with this myself lol I compensate by working out a lot. Avoiding carbs is great for mental clarity. You don’t have to meal prep to eat healthier, some people find that it helps. If you’re new to eating healthy, start by adding in good stuff to what you eat already, or finding healthier substitutes for what you love. Making little changes helps to get the ball rolling. Something that has always worked for me is fasting. I don’t ea…

I don’t know where you are, but if you’re new to working out, planet fitness offers free “training.” Their trainers can show you how to use the machines and I’ve always found the environment there to be non intimidating. Keep in mind that learning something new is always a bit intimidating and uncomfortable no matter what it is. I always start my workout with some cardio, 10-20 minutes walking on the treadmill or one of the other machines. Then some weight machines and finish with a good stretch…

I’ve used bumble, tinder, pof and hinge on and off over the years. Met a ltr on pof but that was 6 years ago, I don’t think that app is relevant anymore. Most recently was on tinder, hated it. At least bumble and hinge make you put effort into your profiles. I didn’t like that I had to reach out with bumble so I’m in hinge now and it’s the best imo. I know people who have met their SO’s on tinder and bumble too though

In my experience, men who are indifferent to home cooked meals are the ones who take it for granted. This guy is putting it out there that it’s something he values highly which makes me think he’d be less likely to take it for granted.

This has actually happened to me twice with more serious relationships!! They both ended things and then reached out a couple months later to say they thought I would’ve fought for them a little more and they were disappointed that I didn’t.... and when they said that I realized they never knew me at all despite being with me for 2+ years. I didn’t consider that with this most recent one, he seemed smarter than that but now that you point it out, I can definitely see that as a possibility. Men a…

Oh too many to list. I know I’ve grown though because recently, a guy I had been dating for a few months broke up with me. He texted me to go to his house so we could talk, odd of him to say so I knew what he was planning to do. I wasn’t going to drive an hour to his house so he could break up w me. I made him do it over text and then I never responded. Before, I would’ve asked for an explanation and I would have driven there and I probably would have tried to talk him out of it. This time... by…

Start by forming good habits. It’s not easy at first, you kind of just have to force yourself through until the habit is formed. Starting a gym routine is a fine example. Hard to get the ball rolling, but once that good habit is formed it is easy to maintain. I’ve been through a lot of crap, but my gym routine is something that I ALWAYS can fall back on, it is something that I can count on and it makes me feel hella good about myself too. Never underestimate the power of a good workout regimen

You’re not over exaggerating and I think your mistrust has nothing or very little to do with your ex. This man bred the distrust by rejecting you already so your emotional response is completely warranted. I would feel insecure dating him as well. Best to throw the whole man away and start over.
