Before this post gets too controversial, (not saying it will, but it might) Id like to say that I get what you're asking and I think it's a great idea. We don't have much comprehensive comparative data on sentencing for teacher-student sex crimes. So a lot of the posts claiming sexism in sentencing for these crimes are appealing to anecdotal evidence. I'm all for someone compiling the data and drawing more informed conclusions. Probably the majority of these arrests involve drug possession or alcohol. I myself had at least one arrest for public drunkenness when I was in my early 20's. This is a very valid question. I think it has everything to do with whether your illness makes you a danger to others, which this woman definitely was. This is precicely where I split from a large percentage of MRAs.
