I know the difference between being blunt because you're honest, and being condescending because you have emotional baggage (anger phase). I've followed TRP for almost two years now, and can safely say it has a lot of the latter.

I resonate with this so much. I can't relate to most TRP users because of their attitude. I know they're talking truth, but they make it sound unnecessarily condescending when it could easily be said in a more neutral manner.

Saying a lot of RP people believe in arranged marriages is a huge stretch. I've browsed the sub regularly for more than a year and can't remember any significant conversations about this any more than in any other gender related subreddit. I'm sure most people who hold traditional beliefs as far as arranged marriages and sex have never even heard of TRP before. So that's a question better directed at cultural/religious groups that are known for that.

Well I do know many women who work on their personality, and while it's not a negative thing on itself and might make them relatively more attractive, it will never override physical attraction, as can sometimes happen when genders are reversed.

The answer to your question seems pretty straightforward, I have a hard time imagining why someone would answer "no." I assume you know this. And judging from your use of "they're too irrational and childish for that" and the observation of women's character being described as childish or irrational on TRP, I suspect you're subtly hinting at TRP thinking women shouldn't make their own choices or at least fishing for a reaction, which explains my first comment.

Is there some sort of group that's opposed to women being able to choose who to have sex with and who to marry?

Lack of understanding terms/trolling seems to be characteristic of BPers here. I came to this sub with an neutral view, looking for interesting gender debate as free from fallacies as possible. But the more I browse the sub, the more I realize how hard it is to agree with BP minded folks. I'm trying my best to detach myself emotionally and look at these issues logically, which seems to be in-line with most RP posts here. A majority of BP comments I've seen have been fueled on emotion and full of…

What TRP would say is irrelevant. All your attempts at refuting and proving me wrong have been made with the assumption that I identify myself as RP and that I'm siding with everything you've ever seen an RP user post. Again, unfounded assumptions. If I identified myself as RP, I would've labeled myself as such. I'm on this sub because I find the topics of debate interesting and don't know of any other sub that focuses on these topics with users from both sides. I'm speaking for myself, not for …

Why are you guys so heartily convinced that all of those can't exist side-by-side? My betabux is a best friend who I both love and lust after. I never implied they can't exist side by side. They can, and when they do and are mutual for both parties is when you have the healthiest kind of relationship. The fact that they can exist side by side doesn't mean they can't also exist in isolation, the most common example being the famous friend-zone. Beta-bux implies someone is beta, which implies they…

In order to be an authoritative figure, you need to have alpha traits. So it's a good example. And being an authoritative figure doesn't imply you're constantly controlling people. You're making false assumptions.

I agree money isn't necessary to be successful with women, and having it doesn't guarantee success either (beta bux) But if you're not beta, having money sure helps :)

What's grown over time is your value as beta bux You're not using this term correctly. In your OP or anywhere on the comments. Beta bucks doesn't just mean growing old and being used for your money. I can be used for my money by beautiful girls, but if I use them right back for sex and good times, it's pretty much a win/win situation. Beta bux would be to actually wife the gold-digger and be oblivious to the truth. Being her bank, her doormat, and her servant, while receiving nothing but maybe t…

Hypothetically speaking, if the man is getting "sloppy seconds", the woman will be able to get the same amount of sloppy seconds, or more, with a lot less effort. Analyzing the promiscuity of their sexual partners is irrelevant in this case.

I honestly don't see how they can recover Well, they could work on honing some skills to in turn make more money and work their way back to having sexual value. For women, working out and plastic surgery will only get you so far.

Do you understand what the analogy is getting at? A man that has sex with many women implies some sort of value be it charisma, confidence, extremely good looks, rich, powerful, etc. The man is the lock and having sex with the woman is what the analogy refers to as "opening the lock." A woman who has sex with many men doesn't imply much about her since it's a lot easier to obtain sex as a woman. This doesn't mean she doesn't have any good qualities either, it just means that you can't derrive th…

Any analogy can be picked apart with imperfections if taken too literally. It's an analogy, it's meant to convey figurative meaning, not be a literal translation. I assume you understand the basic gist of what the key/lock quote is trying to express. If not, this is an interesting read that might put things into perspective. Don't take this as my word for agreeing with everything that article says, but the main idea is there.

When TRP speaks of "sensitive beta men" they speak of men who can't handle their emotions and break easily, quite the opposite of what you're talking about. It seems like you're misrepresenting (or misunderstanding) what it means to be beta. Because having emotional intelligence is not beta at all. Being in control of your emotions is alpha. Which in itself implies you do have emotions, difference being you know how to handle them and not let them take control over you.

I explicitly stated this was about sexual value, not value as a person.

Being caring isn't mutually exclusive to being alpha. Also, what do you mean by sensitive?

Romantic and lustful love versus a sibling or friendship (I'm looking at you, friend-zone) kind of love.

There's a problem with using the word love, as it's too subjective and abstract of a thing to objectively argue. If you mean a romantic/sexual kind of love, then I'd agree that women will very rarely love a beta man. As far as respect, a beta man cannot be inherently respected as an authoritative figure by anyone, man or woman. Respected as a human being, sure. But now we're talking semantics which is a whole different rabbit hole.

What about hair loss? I said men's looks deteriorate as well. The takeaway is that a man's sexual value isn't as dependent on looks as a woman's. Hair loss isn't limited to either gender either.

Hitting the wall is a way to describe women's sexual value rapidly depreciating. Unfortunately for women, their sexual value depends almost entirely upon looks, which deteriorate with age. Men, on the other hand, adopt the physique of Greek gods once they hit 30 /s The difference is that men's sexual value is less focused on the physical, and more on things such as status, money, power, confidence, etc. Things that generally increase as a man ages. So while his looks might be deteriorating as we…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
