You sure can. As someone who also doesn't drink, I can say that people are going to look at you different. I don't get a lot of full blown "you're a beta pussy for not drinking" attitudes but people think it's weird. The first thing you have to do is find a way to demonstrate that you're not an uptight religious nut. Being in a bar in the first place is a good sign, as long as you don't look like your friends dragged you there. Second, have a go to reason for why you don't drink. The more real i…

Don't get me wrong, sport bikes are still hot as fuck, I just like cruisers better.

Yes. Pro tip: ride a cruiser. I've never seen a woman of a cruiser and if/when I do I will hit on her.

I have a hard time with this too so I hope I don't sound too patronizing when I say: You're overthinking it. Big time.

ask her out and then immediately play hard-to-get yeah that makes sense. It does make sense. It's the balance between acting like she doesn't exist and walking up in a bar and proposing to her (sincerely). Show interest, then back off and let her come to you.

I like this. Playful, slightly cocky, and an invitation for more.

I know, I still get flashbacks.

I've had to do this before, it's worked very well. Good luck.

Fake it till you make it. It worked for me.

Hchambers is absolutely right that observation and vocabulary are important, but I think that they are more of a foundation. Along with building up vocab and observational skills, you should watch witty comedians. Groucho Marx is probably the king of the "one liner" but his humor is somewhat dated (he was popular in the 50's). Any of the late night talk show guys (Conan, Letterman, Leno, Ferguson,) will all help. Comedy Central is a great network. Dr. House (House M.D.) is witty as hell, but a b…

If she came home with him to see a movie (or brought him home with her) then that's a damn good sign that she's into him. The rule about stalker vs secret admirer applies to kino: if she's into you, kino is electrifying; if she isn't into you, then kino is creepy.

It's also much easier for girls to start a conversation with me if I'm buy myself IMO I've always wondered about this. I, like you, go solo an awful lot of the time (90% or more) and I've always thought it made me more approachable; but the stigma is that a person who is out alone must be a loser with no friends.

I have this problem too. Either I say, "of course I miss you too" and sound like a "nice guy" or I say anything else and I sound like a dick.

"I have that effect" or "I do that sometimes" is a great catch all phrase for when someone compliments you.

Well I learned something today.

This is important. The "rules" of conversation change when you're flirting. In theory, everyone knows the new rules so you're not technically lying.

Sounds kind of insecure; like she's waiting for an excuse to think that you don't like her. I hate it when they say things like this because I'm left with two choices: 1) Say, "I miss you too." Which sounds like you're just succumbing to her whining. 2) Say anything else and it gives her insecurities more ammo.

As much as I love Han Solo and as great as this line is, it should be used rarely. The first time she says "I love you," this line is golden. The first time she says "I miss you," this line is golden. The thirty second time (straight) you use this line, it's pretty old and you're crossing the line between "confident/cocky" and "childishly arrogant." TL;DR this line is great as long as it's mixed with others.

They seem a little too expressive for me so I use them sparingly, and then mostly ":P" or ";P". Sometimes ";)" if I'm being really flirty.

Yeah, the 55 rules one sounded more like "how to be a douche bag."

I don't know about you, but I and a lot of guys I know don't have near enough balls to try and flirt with a woman in uniform.

What it definitely means: time to move on. What it could mean: 1) She's looking for a serious relationship and just doesn't "feel it" with you 2) She doesn't find you attractive but doesn't want to offend you by saying so.
